Hey guys, I’m eyeing off some wines at Different Drop. Do they regularly have sales/discount offers?

They often have 10% off promotions via email, but usually a quite small selection of wines. Some of their mixed packs are good deals too. Low threshold for free freight ($150). Nice people to deal with too.

especially for $120 :)

I want to try some Aussie nebbiolos (sub $50) and two that popped up in my research are Latta Headwaters and Domenica, both available at DD.

DD also have the slightly cheaper Fetherston

in terms of service, this is what makes them great:
  • 30-day retrospective price matching (Latta and Domenica are slightly cheaper elsewhere)
  • 100-day returns
  • delaying dispatch due to heat
  • holding orders to combine with future ones, to then qualify for free delivery with $150+ spend
  • overnight courier
if you're spending less than $150 and don't want to pay for delivery or wait, then DRNKS have the Latta for $40 delivered

Wow - what year were you expecting? 1999, there was discrepencies between title, description, link and technical info.
And how long is that one expected to last? Probably peaked a decade back, not a fantastic vintage either.
And when will you drink it? Next BYO session, birth-year birthday

Hmmm... seems a bit mean of them to be sending you pre-peaked wine! Hope it's still great all the same. Sometimes wine that's meant to be too old gives you a surprise hey?

Anyone have any good recommendations for Spanish wines from the range / generally available in Australia? When I was in Spain, I drank bottles left right and centre and loved it all but didn't really take particular note of producers.

We’re gifting you a bottle of our carefully cellared Seppelt museum wine with selected cases of Seppelt purchased*. While we’re not going to ruin the surprise by telling you exactly what your bottle is, we can say that among the offerings are some St Peters Shiraz! We did say we were feeling generous.

Stock of our bonus bottle is limited however, so once they’re gone, they’re gone.

Get in quick to claim your BONUS bottle from the Seppelt museum when you purchase a selected case of Seppelt valued at $80.00 or more!*

Jumped on some more chalambar @$19.

Is anyone able to decipher the cryptic bonus? Will it be the St Peter's?

My guess it's mostly likely to be the chalambar from 2004-2006 that they were recently selling, with a small number of St Peter's sprinkled in
