Other than a few packs that are probably fairly priced now, not much different than a Carpe Diem sale.

Honestly- at $45/ bottle for the dead arm I think that is about the real value for it. I actually did the paid tasting at the cube last year and the way the staff were raving on and on about the 2018 Dead Arm, one would have thought they would have sold out of it. 8 months later and the stock is being firesold through Langtons.

Dead Arm for some has great expression of Mclaren Shiraz. For me I agree with the previous comment that it lacks varietal characteristics which is what every flagship wine label should represent if not a blend. But hey- it is still grippier and has staying power compared to other Darry Shirazs of the same vintage. Again- I am not a massive Darrys fanboy though.

My personal experience is that Shadrach is better than Meshach….and I only paid $30 for the 2009 about 5 years ago!

I had my 2013 couple of days ago. It had a different colour label - it was black

The Blue one was released under gift boxes after 8 years by the winery. I had the 2012 last year same blue colour label. But if you purchase the normal released it will be the black one.

Found the origins of my purchase. I bought 2 x Shadrach 2009 (under cork) and both were very disappointing
