DD use the same bottle picture in 24 different deals and state the rrp as $432 or $36/bottle which is the rrp of Devitt and Moore. Magarey lane is $35 or $420 total. Hopefully you are correct but I won’t be taking the chance this time.
I've emailed them previously and they're happy you tell you what the wines are prior to ordering

I think the Margarey Lane lines up better, as does the bottle shape.

I stand corrected. A bit strange the rrp doesn’t match though.
Will have to think about getting some now. Thanks

I’ve boomed and will be posting on the share-a-case thread (Melb based)
Sadly I am located in Sydney otherwise I am keen to share with you. I never try the Clarendon Hills Astralis and I am really keen to try one. I just wondered how good it is and what is the fair price do you think? How was it compare to the Grange or any of the Standish Shiraz?

Yeah, I was in a heavy mtg and unable to check through everything carefully so just saw Astralis for close to $100 and hit buy on my phone under the table.

In answer to your question - I had the '08 last Xmas and it was excellent, though I do think there's a question whether anything is truly $400 excellent, or $1000 in Grange's case.

Upon surfacing I thought oh cough that other bottle - Flaxmans - is probs filler - turns out it's advertised for $750 what the hell. Has anyone ever tried it? I wonder if it's another idiotic rrp or for reals.

Powell and Son is Dave Powell, ex-Rockford, founder of Torbreck. It is real, not a puff price. Since son Callum left to do his own thing ( Agricola Vintners) he has renamed to Neldner Road.

Thought the same! Most likely an elevated rrp. The fact that it's still available (not sold out) at most retailers suggests said rrp is above what should be. In saying that, 2015s currently at ~$550 at auction!
NB haven't tried so cannot comment on quality and value.
