IMO no...

If I was spending that sort of cash on St Hallet, I'd be getting a six pack of the '18 Old Block and pocketing the change or topping up with an Old Block Magnum.

Any intel on what this might be please? Scanned CW Wines website but didn't find a match. Ditto Google.

I actually heard somewhere that 2021 and 2022 vintages were quite different. I really liked 2022 but haven't had a chance to try 2021.
Yeah, the 2021 is very savoury and a bit forward in development, wouldn't suit some people who enjoy more bright fruit in their reds as in the 2022.

I initially thought there might be some brett showing in the 2021, but eventually decided it was just the savoury style, no band-aids on the nose and the drying finish is not metallic at all.

Do you think it will be improved by aging? 2021 seems a bit young. Anyway, will try it again few years later.

RRP lines up with Archery Road ?

I wonder if you could return it?

Doesn't say if they pay return freight.

If you don't like it now you probably won't like it later, it will always be a very savoury wine.

Oh my.
Yeah, there was a lot of Ivyburn First Minister and Regional series on Grays before CW started flogging it and new labels under that brand. I bought a fair amount of First Minister Shiraz and Regional series shiraz for $6-$8 back in 2023.
I bought Ivyburn Aldersey Shiraz 2021 from Vinomofo and sent it back, not faulty, just a boring sort of wine of no great interest at $25

Try any cabernet? This is a typical "overinflated CW RRP" deal, but $6ish pb isn't to be sneezed at either, if it's decent(ish). I personally tend to prefer Barossa wines over other regions.

Sorry, no, my quaffer pack friends are mostly after Shiraz and the occasional Malbec, GSM/Grenache, not many Cabernet fans, at least for immediate quaffers..
