Yes, Spongbob. They are brother and sister. They were born at the rubbish tip and rescued along with their mum, at about 4 weeks old. We got them at 7 weeks.

Aww bless! Our two litter mates were also called Smokey and the Bandit! Smokey unfortunately had pica so he died a few years back (after 4 laparotomies for ingested plastic and rubber). But Bandit is going strong and such a sweetheart.

There is (or was) a cat "administrator" at the SS Peter & Paul cathedral in Saint Petersburg, complete with his (her?) own chair and human attendant.
 
So I was away for 3 weeks from my young rescue cats after they ‘adopted’ me 5 months earlier. I was worried how they would react to my absence. Once laying down of the couch Juno decided I wasn’t going anywhere :)
