Discussion on Cats, Moggies and Felines in general [with Pictures]

Well we passed, :) Just minor details to sort. He is very timid, but that is understandable, so many things to do regarding the cat run as he will be an "indoor" cat. Looks like I will be busy.

Here he is, can't wait!

He is beautiful. Love love love the colour. Hope he brings his human family many happy years.

Late to the conversation, but we have three male cats, two Burmese and one Siberian Forest Cat - all are inside cats with an enclosed run down the side of the house. We just popped mesh on the gate frame at the front so they could see the birds that flitter in our front garden, used a second hand security door at the back, and filled in the gaps and the "roof" with cat net.

We find in the house it's important to give them vertical space, so we have floating shelves with marine carpet stuck on them for racing/lounging/surveying and I found these fabulous floor to ceiling cat trees with hammocks rated to deal with our three in one hammock - ours are big boys. I'll take some snaps... View attachment 218058
Have you got a link to the supplier, please?

With all these new kitties I should set myself up as a free of charge FIFO or DIDO minder.
What are you doing in September? ;)

Yikes, we have lost him twice in 14 hours! Very adept at hiding, thinking we were going mad, he can't open locked doors can he? :)

First time he was hiding behind the ironing board in it's storage space in the laundry, then this morning nowhere to be found, he could have been in only 4 rooms. Pulled the place apart, pulled out washing machine, boy it's dirty behind there, give it a clean, continue to search, nothing, sigh, have we done the right thing?

Cleaning behind the washing machine, I realise that there is a gap at the back of the cupboard next to the machine, yep there he was. I'll give him 10 out 10 for that.

He is , perhaps, looking for somewhere safe.. after all a new home is a big challenge and quite scary.
We all crave certainty and security, animals are no different.

Totally agree, didn't help that we vacuumed where the machine normally is, and he hates vacuum cleaners apparently. We'll let him come out by himself.

Our last kitten was very food oriented so just tapping a spoon on a saucer brought her running.

any sight of puss today? Perhaps feeling like he can come out from hiding?

Yes he seems to be settling down, but there are complications, previous owner had a small 1 bedroom flat and worked long hours, meaning she couldn't give him the attention required. However she is very distressed at not having him, so we will see. We always said that this was an option if that is what she wanted.
He is cute though and this seems to be his favourite spot.

We were given those iPad thingies - don't actually use them.

Well not good news, she wants him back, I think it was mostly the bf that was driving this, and she has decided that "she can't live without him", I can see her point, personally I'd get rid of the boyfriend and keep the cat!

We always knew that was a possibility but hoped it wouldn't happen. :(
