Discussion on Cats, Moggies and Felines in general [with Pictures]

So he may not be a happy puss in a few weeks!

He is full of beans! Love him to bits, so glad this seems to have worked out, for now at least. We did want another, but probably not a Bengal,, that I think could be a real handful, my friend that was in Alice Springs but now working in Kigali(!), had a Bengal and a Maine Coon, hell knows what their food bill was.

he may be a handful but he will be your handful and you will love him. regardless. He certainly is a beautiful boy. Wonder how he will like his visit to the vet. Daughter's cats wail the whole time.

Is he eyeing them off as possible lunch or just having a little look?

He wants to get out there! Have tried with a harness, but he just flops. :) We will persevere.

Definitely going to be an indoor cat, unless on a lead. On Saturday we were offered first pick on a 6 year Burmese girl, owner is moving into an eco area near Currumbin, no dogs or cars allowed. A week ago we have said yes.
Vet visit was good, he is indeed intact, but not for much longer, bit behind with some vaccinations, other wise fine.

As an aside, the previous owners of Max as we are going to call him, come from the Cocos and Keeling Islands, big move from there to Canberra. I asked to him to ask friends and family about the possibility of getting some number plates for my collection, we'll see what happens.

Daughter's cat was hopeless with a harness, never learned to walk in it. Did you say you are setting up your outside cat run for him to use.

I have a bit done, the old area outside the laundry was redone with proper lockable gates and new alsynite roof, but much more to do, the old one was a bit haphazard, I want this to look better.

The vet said to make sure he has lots of high places to climb.
