Does anyone here actually collect amenities kits as a hobby?

Oh hell no! Port Power, the real deal for SA. I wonder if they have trademarked it 😂

They do take up a lot of room but even when we downsized I couldnt give them away. I did give duplicate colours away though.

..its coming up three years since my last trip and I fear amenities bags will be a long way away for me.

I used to love these little momentoes

May I vicariously ask fellow AFFers are amenity kits still a thing in J/F ?
…due to Covid I wondered if they went the way of magazines at the hairdressers.?

QF still do them. (Or are at least using last year's stock.)

I Received one each way in Business class with my trip to the USA last weekend. Both the "60's" version of the 100th anniversary series made for 2021.

I am very pleased to hear this
I am moving house and have hit the payload in the bathroom cupboards
… so instead of travelling I’ll use them for the first few days to ‘pretend’ while I unpack although what will I do with 20 eye masks?
 
I will be very disappointed not to receive one on QF1 (in 4 weeks) considering how much I paid!!

I don't really collect them though, I generally re-use them over time. favourites have been the blue & white Marimekko ones from AY. Most disappointing have been CX which have been quite boring in recent years.
 
I used to post regular 'Free Stuff' give-a-ways in the past but have not done so in a while however the other day I pulled out a bag that has not been opened in a couple of years and found a hoard of stuff that I thought had been thrown out. Thinking back MrsM most likely to had told me to get rid of it and all I did was move it from one bag to another and put it away, the overflow was gone and MrsM was happy.

If anyone is interested I can post the details and give it away. Most items are not complete however there are unopened QF F and J, QR F (newer soft) F and J, as well as one of the older Brics J kits but most contents are gone, JL Zero Halliburton and ANA Globetrotter mini luggage, EK female F kits and some of the other free stuff that was in the EK F cabin.

As we are planning to travel this year I am sure to find more stuff that was squirrelled away, forgotten about and is likely to be stored in luggage that has not been used in 2 years.

There’s countless amenity kits for sale on ebay. whether or not they sell I guess depends on their price, rarity and desirability.

Some of the rimova and samsonite hard shell cases can go for a lot of money.
