Some of the rimova and samsonite hard shell cases can go for a lot of money.

I used to keep the mini bags but have stopped, in July 22 I gave away in the 'free stuff' posts rimowa, Tumi (19 degree) and Zero Halliburton little bags. In the past I have also given away (on this site) Brics QR F Brics and ANA Globetrotter J, I have horse traded the rimowa ones to match my luggage or just given away these items to friends, family, work colleagues and a few to Affers outside of the 'free stuff' offers. I am aware that some sell for ridiculous prices but I cannot be bothered with the hassle as I received them for free.

The hoard is dwindling and at present these are the one we have have.

MrsM claimed most of them but there are couple (+ spare) I am not willing to part with, reason is here.

The hoard of hotel products and other amenity kits are normally given to another AFFer who would package them up and give them away to charities and women's shelters.

This is my hoard of Rimowa, and after my daughters advice, I keep a few unopen. A few ring-ins here, but I have another three on-the-go that travel with me as they are good for cables, chargers, etc. I found the latest Qantas one, pictured previously, all but useless. All the other bags collected went to a women's charity overseas.

@leadman we also use them for gadget bags and each have one. One was recently left on a SQ flight (EWR-SIN) but the time my daughter noticed it was missing the aircraft had already returned and I never expected to see it again. About 10 days later SQ contacted me an said it had been found which was a surprise considering the aircraft had flown SIN-JFK/EWR return 3 times and SIN-SFO-SIN once. But the time it arrived back in my hands only a could of cables and a charger was missing.

Well done, that is not bad by SQ. My only experience with them on lost items was I left an early iPod and Nakamichi headphones on the plane. Got to the lounge and hit me I left them behind. No more than 15 minutes after leaving the plane, the lounge staff said nothing was left on the plane!

Ok so I have to work out how to have a first class flight on Lufthansa as their PJ's look excellent. Of course I had a sticky beak on eBay and saw that there is a Bvlgari amenities kit bag for sale lol

LH F is available through both Avianca Lifemiles and Aeroplan. Both for good rates transatlantic. Chicago used to have the met availability, also some from New York and Miami. The LH F kits vary, the Rimowa were cute, but copied by Thai and EVA. They had La Mer in them many years ago. Bathrooms are stocked with mini Evian spray bottles. You get one each, or more depending on how full the cabin is.

Anyhoo I need more amenities kits
Husband should be getting some JAL ones and I will be getting some of the Qantas first ones though I don't think they have done a makeover of those lately ? Going to have to see if people have any new types

Lol… did we ever resolve the issue of ‘amenities’ kit vs ‘amenity’ kit.

If they are anything like the recent ones I received the contents are basically the same as J. It seems like gone are the days of razors, shaving cream, deodorant etc.

I'm not sure how old the ones I was given are and I've not had any (QF) previously to the best of my recollection.
The 2 I was given are in a nice leather, the contents more than adequate.

That is the same as the one I was handed, IIRC these were introduced around the time the a380s were getting refitted, the PJs also changed from dark blue to dark grey. Prior to the current kits they were SK-II product in a black bag (mens) and these had razors, shaving cream, deodorant and quite large eye masks which looked odd but I found them comfortable.

Post Covid my travel has cut back, I still have a hoard of stuff (mainly PJs) and now just give away surplus to anyone who wants it. This is what I have retained since Oct 22 and anything I had more than one of has been given away or left onboard.

If you have either either of the QF 100 kits I am missing I would be happy to trade. I have an extra Rebecca Vallance amenity kit which I held onto as I was understanding these are only available a couple of months but maybe wrong.
