Nope. MrP requal as WP 2 months ago and end of April is his year end.

No switched to best flight of day and flying more with SQ and VA. I stated I was unhappy with the changes at QF and would vote with my feet and so I have . Have also stopped spending a significant amount of my own money to obtain retain status. I have a feeling I may not be the only person to have done similar.

This is a smart thing to do regardless of the recent changes
There is no point throwing away too much of your own money just to hold a nicer looking plastic card in your wallet

My QFF number ends in a prime number. So nominally its a prime, (I say that from a background of having been interesting in the search for the next biggest prime number including programming for such. So I know the error in this sentence)

Anyway, not divisible by 4. I've booked a classic in the last 6 months. Also paid for a cash ticket when classic award was available, to get the SC. So maybe classic award is the deal.

I'd use a classic award for J class but not for Y SC.

I have 0 SC and 2 weeks into the new membership year with no forward bookings. Previously have used MASAs and classics. Not sure if i'm going to take advantage, because in general Y SCs are pretty low and having international J not included doesn't help either.

Nope Mr FM got it and he has already requalified as WP with an end Aug date. I didn't get it and he and I have exactly the same everything, except he has a lot more points than I do, although I have over 200,000.

I just started my new year (currently on 0SC!) 2 weeks ago - so yes, maybe I need some assistance requalifying for WP

I have requalified for silver - almost gold in fact - but need my 4 flights! (not that I got the offer anyway).

The more I think about it though the happier I am that QF are still toying with promos like this!

Anyone know if this "award points earns SC deal" can also be used alongside the 50% SC promotion as well ?
Would be interesting if the best of both worlds applies...
