My partner wouldn't even know what a status credit is. LOL
Yep, and a few years ago I did the same for MrP and he has never budged from WP and now a LTG. It is MY turn now and achieved that last year. Now trying for this year, which is actually next year but I'm way ahead.Ditto, the only reason my partner made gold was that I engineered it.
I wouldn't consider you a marginal Platinum One. Far from it.Of course not.. but this P1 got it.
I got +50% SCs for booking between 30 August and 5 September, to fly by 28 December 2017.
I got this as well, and have in the past.
Can anyone tell me, as I forget, when awarded an odd number of SC (ie. 15, 25, 35), do they round up or down? Should I expect 7 or 8 for example on 15 SC.
Hi Sam,
They’ve rounded down on all of mine:
35 was 17
25 was 12
45 was 22

As far as I am concerned there isn't anyone who is a "marginal" P1 - the amount of hours or spend required denies that. (I know some people even in the P1 bracket are interstellar in their spend/travel, but seriously P1 is a bugger of an amount of hours in bloomin planes)
In any case, I got the promo, and to help the "team" (all of us AFF'ers), I took a day off to book a stack of 2018 travel - so hopefully that will make their analysis gurus say "wow - DSC offers are a great tool to induce spend"

In that case you'll drop back to being a high value WP compared with my "marginal" WP status. I mostly fly discount Y domestically, discount J on personal international long haul and upgradable Y where possible on international long haul for work, and I do status runs flying indirect in discount J domestically. For my next year(just started) even with DSC I probably won't make it.
.... a high value WP ....
I was just about to book a flight to NZ on EK under QF flight number when I realized only on here that it's restricted to flights on actual Qantas metal. Puh, glad I came by here first! Would have not even thought of this, given it all came under the QF/EK partnership heading...
