I have tried to search if this question has already been answered in this thread...

Has a change in a booking still yielded the double status credits (Flex Y)? If I loose double status credits I won't change the dates for my booking although if they will be awarded on the same route with just a date change then I will change them.

Has anyone had success with this yet?

Many Thanks

The first round of DSC's have only just occurred so it's too early to know about the impact of date changes this time and same re the vouchers.

I can buy vouchers instead of flights when the DSC offer is open ???!!!!

I'm the same Pushka - I've already qualified for WP for this year (end 30 April as well) so waiting until May - in fact, I still have one voucher left from last years DSC opportunity to use.

I tried to change a London flight through Melbs (I'm in Sydney and booked a business sale flight during the DSC offer- wouldn't let me book direct from Syd)... anyway, they told me I would lose the DSC deal if I changed anything in the booking. Flight was early Sept on last years DSC deal.

Re: Double status credits 2/3/17 - 6/3/17

Update- rang Qantas priority line. Described my dilemma, they confirmed I was not registered, then admitted the web site had issues. They will credit the DSC deal manually on the flights I booked during the offer, all I have to do is email them to remind them. Yay. They were very very cool about it.

Re: Double status credits 2/3/17 - 6/3/17

Double status credits posted for MrP on 17th for a flight taken on 14th. Normal booking process.

On the other hand neither of us have received usual status credits for a flight taken yesterday when usually they are almost immediate.

Re: Double status credits 2/3/17 - 6/3/17

Anyone flown EK under QF TT and received their DSC yet?

I'm not feeling the love at all!:( As predicted took next flight and no DSC from 1st flight yet. Would be interested to know when Aussie flyers receive their DSC's.

I flew Sydney-Brisbane-Sydney yesterday. The usual status credits for the morning flight to Brisbane appeared within a couple of hours but I am still waiting for the return trip to Sydney yesterday afternoon.

Note: No DSC for me for these flights as booked outside the promotion period.

Interesting. I've put in an enquiry. These flights were booked during the DSC offer.

anyone had a gift voucher booking work for DSC yet?
I have a booking coming up in early April for my partner which she wasn’t ready to book until 2-3 days after the offer ended, so I bought a voucher, booked it the day after and will report back in April.

For what it's worth, in last year's DSC promo Red Roo confirmed date change was permitted.

Oh Really ?! I tried to change a flight booked under last year's offer in Sept (SYD-MEL-LHR) and was told the deal would be voided for the whole flight (all segments, both ways) if I changed it. I cannot say the staff member was the nicest I've dealt with, but would not expect him to have lied.

You were given the wrong information unfortunately. I had multiple trips booked last year where I changed the date and route of the flight and still got the DSC.

For member who have delays in posting I would get onto Qantas. I rang them as I have been waiting for over 2 weeks and was not really concerned as T's and C's do state may take up to 6 weeks, however when I stated reading that DSC were being posted within a couple of days I rang Qantas. After discussing QF advised that my registration date was 7 Mar 17 and the PNR creation date was on the first couple of bookings made was 1 Mar 17.

I have had to send them a copy of my confirmation email dated 2 Mar 17 and the E-Ticket receipt for the first 2 bookings also dated 2 Mar 17. I also attached a list of the other 20+ PNRs created during the promotion as ask them to check them all. I don't want to be calling in a going through this every couple of weeks for the next 12 months.

Sound like IT failure.

ugh... lesson learnt. It was an instance where I definitely did not feel like a valued customer.

Okay my first double SC hit for the first leg of a day flight from 16 March. Interesting that the return flight that day didn't but maybe that's because the return leg posted on 17 March.

Still would have thought two flights on same day and booking would get DSC credited same day. I guess I should be happy they have started.

In the last hour DSC posted from Thursday. So close now:

I will just about be there when yesterday's post.
