Double SC Promo [December 2010]

Right, the first lot of double has come through, curiously marked as a couple weeks ago. Hoping for the next lot by the end of the week.

That's the exact same line (incl dates) that appeared in my account today! Now for the double SCs for the return leg...:shock:

After 3 phone calls my double SC have finally posted.
I waited over 7 weeks before I rang again today and the SCs were posted this afternoon

I rang today to complain, and after a few hours of "investigating", received a call back this afternonn saying that the double status credits have been manually posted to my account....they are now there, but pretty annoying that I had to ring and chase QF in the first place! Not bad, 520 SCs for just under $1200 (+ $79 x 2 for 2 positioning flights), and a nice couple of nights in Fiji

I was waiting till tomorrow to phone, as today is 6 weeks, but sometimes activity happens at night so didn’t want to be pawned off again. Will call tomorrow and get the missing 80.

Edit: Phoned them up Tuesday morning, obviously didn’t get through to the Platinum service desk as they told me the system broke and that it is in there, but hasn’t credited in my account (as I could see). I was told to wait another 2 weeks. By then I will be flying again, so if it hasn’t credited at that stage I’ll definitely be a little firmer with them.

Had a SYD-SIN flight on 30th March that didn't get awarded the extra SCs (all other, previous flights had the extra given within a few days).

Sent an email via the contact form on the weekend, and the SCs credited today - so a 3 day turn-around.

As late last years thread was closed, as an update to my situation I was contacted by someone from Qantas today to say that they’re still sorry my double credits haven’t posted, and that the system is broken and they’re still looking into it, but effectively have no news for me.

They said they might have to manually credit them ultimately, but can’t yet, to which I said I knew of a Platinum member who had had that done, and they reaffirmed they couldn’t do that. Nice and consistent.

Hopefully they fix their system before people from this promotion start flying and expecting things to post!

As late last years thread was closed, as an update to my situation I was contacted by someone from Qantas today to say that they’re still sorry my double credits haven’t posted, and that the system is broken and they’re still looking into it, but effectively have no news for me.

They said they might have to manually credit them ultimately, but can’t yet, to which I said I knew of a Platinum member who had had that done, and they reaffirmed they couldn’t do that. Nice and consistent.

Hopefully they fix their system before people from this promotion start flying and expecting things to post!

So I drafted an email for her, and sent it to QF at [email protected] , and after a week, her missing double SCs also posted, presumably a manual adjustment so I think QF are having a lend of you! hope you get the dble SCs soon!

I actually left feedback on the website, which is why they phoned me, but will no doubt call them back in a week (or escalate my emails higher) if nothing has happened. It’s getting a bit stupid.

Finally an end. After working out this morning how I’d broach the subject if I had to call up again, to make sure they didn’t just feed me more BS, I was pleasantly surprised this evening to see the credits have been credited, dated today of course.

However it’s odd to see that the credit has forced a different error:

As I’ll be flying on Thursday it wont matter too much soon, but apparently my last activity was never.
