Sorry, 13th Frb so within the timeframes
I got the impression from the QF December newsletter that everyone was now eligible for the promotion.
I received a reminder email the other day. I have not even bothered to register and I can't see myself paying for additional flights in the next 6 days.
Lol!
Surely a SYD-BNE flight from the international terminal would still be classed as a domestic flight.
And the same would go for domestic flights on international itineraries.
I have not had the opportunity to read through the whole of this thread, however I was certainly awarded with double the usual status credits on my recent QF19 SYD/BNE flight. Did this happen to anyone else?
Not only did I receive an extra 10 status credits (wow, I was actually "targeted" for something), I received my first ever QF op-up on QF19 and LAN posted within a few days of flying (which I hear isn't the norm).
Cheers
weird... I thought it was only for international...
I changed my wellington flight and I was given the double promo to my surprise...
QF19 is an international flight, operating a domestic leg, as discussed a few pages back and as I thought, qualifies .

Isn't QF19 normally a direct flight between SYD and MNL? Did you get diverted to BNE or is it scheduled to stop there?
Some days it is direct SYD-MNL and some days it's SYD-BNE-MNL.Isn't QF19 normally a direct flight between SYD and MNL? Did you get diverted to BNE or is it scheduled to stop there?

My wife was on this promotion and the SCs appeared 1-2 days after the main SCs.So did everyone end up getting their double SC points credited?
Thank you for contacting The Qantas Club and Frequent Flyer Service Centre.
I referred the information you provided, and I've been advised by Qantas Senior Management that the booking date was 29 November 2010. Accordingly, it doesn't qualify for the Status credits promotion.
I'm sorry I couldn't assist as requested on this occasion.
But how do you argue with "we are right, you are wrong. Suck it up."???
Fly someone else?
OK well I am pretty annoyed with QF right now.
My TA was holding two sets of flights for me BNE-OSL return, departing on 8th Jan and 15th Jan. These were "held" on the 29th of November.
When this promotion came along, I registered, and then on the 10th of December I had my TA do a new booking for me departing on the 12th Jan and with a different routing home so that the NRT->SYD leg was on Qantas.
...
This is complete rubbish. The "bookings" on the 29th had completely different reference numbers, dates and routing to the booking made on the 10th of December.
I'm pretty pissed off that Qantas are being so tight when I am well within the rules of the promotion, and have provided the documentation to prove it. But how do you argue with "we are right, you are wrong. Suck it up."???
The only plausible thing I can think of was that the TA used a PNR from one of the held bookings (or any other booking) which was opened on 29 Nov. She/he simply dumped the flights on that booking and put the new flights on it
