Don't know if they are nice, maybe they just know they need you and your business

I was comped PS again, saying I didn't meet the credits, but by end of assessment date, I was over! So I hope it's not on their record I didn't meet it

hahaha, yes i am not bad for them, be it whY or premium classes they are my first choice, and with the fantatstic service i got last night in whY by the CSM and even the little things like the staff remembeing my name when i am leaving the plane it just makes you feel valued.

Yes i hope its not on there records but i believe it is not because people have reported here many times being comped the second year since the made the year's before, normally the would not comp 2 years running.

As it happens i think i will make partner gold before July 31st  let alone requalifying for WP.

I just got comped to WP with 340 SC short ! and i was on the double points promo..
I have been comped Platinum 2 years in a row ~8 weeks before my reassessment date and each time I accumulated enough SCs for Platinum status after being comped.

I hope I have not run out of luck as I may need to be comped Platinum status this membership year if my planned international travel drops as expected....

I got the double SC offer and managed to get a few bonus flights in by the end of June.

I arrived home today from a trip to the US on Qantas to a pleasant surprise - a nice letter from Norris at Qantas advising that they had confirmed my Gold status for next year already approx 6 weeks out from renewal date(despite being 180 SC's short of the 600 retain requirement after this trip and not having any further travel booked in the system before my renewal comes due).

Just what I needed in these days of GFC and Swine flu which have definitely impacted my travel schedule this year.

Kudos to Qantas for treating loyal customers well during difficult times.

As it happens i managed 2920 SC this year (Till end July).
I guess i easily made WP, even made it to PG.
If i had more chance to plan of really would have taken advantage of the double SC but i think i only got about 200 or so extra SC from the promo.

How far off LTS / LTG are you?

I have a 184 to LTS. But i have about 1500 SC booked in my next year so will make WP again, maybe PG again also.
The rest will mostly be whY and award redemptions.

But i am also QP lifetime so i can't loose that.. they can only devalue it.

I am a bit annoyed i used to credit to AA, but i used to fly a lot of JL pre oneworld so made sense at the time, i think i will keep crediting to QF for now as its easier for me to remain OWE than AA.

So a long long way to go to LTG ! This was my biggest year by a long way as you can see.

Hmm - I seem to have earned double status credits on one of my recent flights - 20 SCs SYD-MEL and 20SCs MEL-SYD booked in S...

This was after I tried to register for the promo after it was finished...

Hmm - I seem to have earned double status credits ...
How did it show up? Similar to the following as an additional transaction?
Code:
16 JUL 09 STATUS CREDITS BONUS 16JUL09 - - - 0 10

Nope - just a normal transaction:

Code:
17 JUL 09 QF 448 ECONOMY/BUSINESS 17JUL09 MELBOURNE/SYDNEY
	439 - 439 1,000 20

That must simply be a mis-credit ... my example was how the bonii showed 1 or 3 days after the flight as a separate transaction. (Except the dates were June)
