Double Status Credits 2013

I just got a DSC offer this morning, but it's limited to domestic flights taken in December and January, that are booked in December. How can I earn significant amounts of SC's on domestic that has any meaningful impact on status? Seems an odd offer, timed even more oddly.

And strangely the DSC offer has come to me just as my re qualification period has rolled over -my WP expired midnight last night (but the website still has details current as at Friday night ie I'm platinum and re-qualification occurs 30 November 2013).

SWMBO (SG) got it........I didn't.

The "October 1.5 offer" specified that the "first registered offer" takes precedence.

So that would suck if you got a 1.5 immediately overlapped with a DSC.
I would be extremely disappointed if I received a double SCs offer and I could not utilise it due to 50% SC offer received earlier and still in effect.

I think QF have given up on me, no DSC offers. Just as I was looking at a multicity J booking too. Why is it that all the bookings through QF website through SIN with QF flight numbers on EK metal are cheaper than on QF metal. That's annoying. QF bad value, $2K more than using SQ and VA so they would need to offer more than DSC's with that price differential. SQ & VA here I come again :!:

First DSC I've ever received, but don't think I'll be able to use it as I'm out of the country for most of December and January.

Always the way.

Thanks for the link. Only domestic anyway. C'est la vie (and they are still too expensive)

I've got the email as well. Don't think I'll be taking any "domestic" flights myself in AU, and I don't think there are any domestic flights in SIN either.

I'd be grateful for some advice.
I got a DSC offer this week but Im a little confused about the fare types that do and do not qualify.
For example, would a red-edeal Mel-Syd which normally earns me 10 sc be included in this offer?
I seem to recall the last DSC offer required domestics to be flex-fare or above to qualify.

COnditions below, many thanks !

I got this as well. Not very useful (targeted?) as will probably not be back in oz next until March '14 on an already booked QF flight! My QFF year is from 1 Oct to 30 Sep.

cough, so I booked a JASA in JAN for DRW-TSV; and now am trying to take advantage of the DSC. If I cancel my current booking, how fast will the seats be released back into the inventory for me to book again?

I had 2 bookings with the 50% offer have cancelled friday when the DSC announced and will rebook as they cancel, usually 72 hours. From experience, though monetary refund known too be longer.

Me too, 7 Dec. CBR-SYD J and then on the 25 Dec BNE-CBR J.

Was it QF1545 on Christmas Day? If so, I was on the same flight (I've posted on another thread that 0 points and SCs were credited for some reason)...
