Double Status Credits 2013

My DSC for Saturday's flights have posted this morning. I'm so pleased there's not a six week wait any more.

Interesting. DSC from flights on 8/9 Dec did not post until 10 Jan a month later! Then a flight on 11 Jan had the DSC posted this morning just two days later!

Seems like they got the system up and running and now it's all running fairly smoothly.

Perhaps some manual crediting coming up, rather than being automatic.

You should call QF. I had a JASA flight booked on 1 December for which the DSCs didn't post even though flights booked at a later date did as part of the bulk credit this morning. When I spoke to QF, they told me the system was showing the booking was made on 30 November. Having read somewhere here about this system time issue, I told them to check given my Activity Statement shows points were deducted on 1 December. In the end, they did a manual credit of the DSCs which showed up immediately.

Even though you are registered, and acknowledged as such, you may still need to follow this up if your booking 'appears' to fall outside the time limits.

You were all correct of course. I rang this morning, the lady mentioned "Zulu time" because I had booked on 1 December, and said she would ring back when she had investigated. She rang back shortly afterwards to say that she had manually entered the bonus SCs for all eight sectors. There was no mention of the fact that I registered on 29 November, so at least I won't need to get legal advice on that .

Seems a bit random. I'm still waiting for DSC from a flight on 27 Dec.

My Tuesday night flight Melbourne to Brisbane 14/1 bonus status credits was received today 16/1, so extremely quick.

I flew on 14, 15 and 16th of Jan. All my regular SC's have posted and my bonus SC for flights taken on 14 & 15th posted today (16th Jan). I am waiting for my bonus SC's for my flight on the 16th.

Service here has been very efficient, I am going to keep an eye out for my last few bonus SC's but I doubt that they will take more than a few days.

Qantas, thank you for the double SC offer.

I am flying Melbourne to Brisbane this afternoon on a DSC (booked as a JASA). When I checked in at the kiosk it said there was an earlier flight available and did I wish to change flights. I stayed with my original flight because I wasn't sure whether I would still get the double Status credits. For future reference could someone please let me know what happens in these cases if you change to an earlier flight. Thanks.

Did you ever get an answer to this question? I'd be interested to know the answer.

My husband moved to an earlier flight which actually took him via SYD rather than the originally booked direct route. Not only did he earn more SC due to the redirection, he also earned the DSC for the redirection. :D

DSCs from Wed/Thurs flights have posted this morning. One of them has posted for 10 as opposed to 40, so I have rung QF and waiting for a call back. One of the flights had to have the original points and SCs entered, so that may be the culprit.

Same here. Have had the return phone call to confirm they will post shortly, and was congratulated on achieving SG!
