Double Status Credits are back

Anyone had the double credits post for flights Thursday night, had my morning credits post but not the evening flights!

It is quite sporadic, markis - had flights last Tuesday - credited for double points for 2nd leg, but still waiting to see first leg promotion SCs.

Good to hear, only really noticed it because it was my SG requal level for that flight, will keep an eye on it for possible follow up later on!

Yesterday I flew MEL-ADL-BNE-TSV in J. The SCs (160) posted yesterday and the double SCs (160) posted this morning.

Now onward to CNS this morning.

Double SCs are crediting - pity I am not doing much travel in the promo period - still, another 1.5% towards LTG

Gave me a nice bump toward WP requal - 920 SC's since April 1, so I should requal in the next 6 weeks or so. Might even have a chance for PG this year (I normally fall a bit short)

Likewise here, once the last two flights credit (JASA's that were changed so no aoto posting) I will have accrued 940 since 1/4/10 so with 3/4 of the year left I should reach PG with ease this year.

Also about to make LTS so the promo has been good.

Heh, we must be about the same - I'm about to go LTS as well.
Currently sitting on 6,726 SCs.

Hmm, in fact I've just realised I'll probably requal WP and hit LTS on the same flight

With 280 still to post from last flight and the next trip will get me 280 so the one after should see me past LTS.

Just back last night on QF32. Scraped in 720 SC in June towards achieving my 1,200 SC to renew plat (already LTG) by 31 May next year. TQ QF.

My father (not a board member) ended at 1400 SCs on 30 Jun expiry. Thankfully I had talked him into rebooking a MEL-SYD flight to a JASA as a SYD-BNE return got pushed fro 29-Jun to 1-Jul!

My head is still spinning after 2 months of double status credit runs.

In 2 months I managed to rack up 1060 SCs with a mixture Paid and ASA flights, both Domestic and International.

I saw this as a great way to get to WP for the first time, and I’m only 60 SCs away which i will do easily in the next month, after being SG for 7 years, I'm looking forward to the switch to WP

What a great money spinner for Qantas, last time it was just one flight got the double offer but with all flights within 3 months this offer it really did spark me to take them up on the challenge. I guess that means now ill be aiming for WP again next qualifying year....$$$$$$$$$$ cha ching

Whilst my travel was more modest (only Double SC's in April & May), it has me half way to Gold after 4 months.

Plus I did get lucky with my first set of flights in the bonus period

Mark the calender for April next year when yet another lot of QFF customers get the offer, no doubt those that have missed out this year or last!

It would be interesting to see the analysis of the promo from Qantas's perspective, I have had some interesting comments from check in staff last few weeks when they saw I was going CNS to BNE via SYD and DRW to BNE via ADL and ADL to DRW via TSV

I'll be interested in seeing. The last time i was offered double SC's was between Feb-Mar 2007. But unfortunately i wasn't flying much then, so didn't get enough to get to Gold - only re-qualified for Silver.
