Many thanks for the link, it's exactly what I've been waiting for. TBH, I was actually waiting for VA to do this, but QF have won me so stuff VA! Looks like QF want me to go for Life Time status and VA couldn't care less if I fly them or not.

So I wonder, has it closed or am I registered? Am I registered for a closed promotion? Seems like a call to QF before I book flights.

Could I suggest a mod separate out this promotion into a new thread to save confusion with the last promotion??

They're work trips via a corp TA in the lowest fare bucket.

The confirmation page now has a banner reading "Confirmation Test Page" so it appears the promotion content went on to a live system before the promotion was actually "live".

QF is saying this promotion starts tomorrow. we have to wait until tomorrow to register then book. Great debacle from QF.

Interesting they admitted it was happening. Would they want to deny promotions exist till they drop

That's what I am receiving too. I wonder if it is blocked from certain statuses (although I haven't signed in) or the promo was pulled before the date.
I'll check back tomorrow and see if it has gone up.

1. If this goes live again tomorrow as expected I am certain it is a global offer for all.

2. I am amused at the numbers of folks who did not read the comments that it opens on Thursday 9th of August


3. As has been experienced in previous promos, there have been issues for those who have registered prior to 0000 GMT (or Zulu) on the register from date. Again I highly encourage people to not register till after 10000 (or 1100 to be extra safe) AEST on the 9th to cut down on extra hassles.

Yep, seems work experience kid jumped the gun and made it live before it was ready

Does anyone know if this has been in the fine print of previous global DSC offers? If I can no longer make "placeholder" Flex bookings and then move them to when I am actually going to fly, that just made retaining WP into 2020 that much harder...
