Double Status Credits promotion (Book by 27/2/24, travel 28/2/24-14/2/25)

I'm so tempted to post that I've recieved my double SCs just to watch the reactions.
You mean you haven’t actually received them yet? Must be just me then…

The first batch of DSC's traditionally take a bit longer right?
Curious about this. My year runs out on 27 April. DSC for flights booked between Feb and 24 April required to boost from gold to platinum. Will the double credits be applied as at date of flight completed? If they only count from the day of credit and don’t get credited it’s all for nought!

It's almost always the date flown that's counted even if it shows up months later.

It may be that your status won't be updated immediately but when it does credit, it should fix itself.

It is for date of flight.

My year ends on April 30th, I'm currently sitting on 0 SC's but with an April trip to the land of camels and chaos and the associated DSC's I will get 640SC's and I'm not worried about when the DSC's hit the account etc.

To be precise, isn't it based on the scheduled departure time of a qualifying flight?
I.e. if your status year runs for May - April, anything that's scheduled to depart at the latest on 30/4 11:59 pm would count (regardless of the eventual arrival time).

Though, timing your flights to the very end of the status year bears two risks:
1) If the flight is cancelled and you get rebooked to next day, you may need some acrobatics to get the (D)SC's credited against the current year as opposed to next.
2) What's the impact of timezones? Does QFF measure it by UTC, AEST/AEDT, or what's the cutoff in their system?

1) You would have to claim OTC - similar to ORC but for time instead of route.

2) Should be local time zone of departure, but might need to make a phone call to the QFF help desk if anyone is running things that tight.

Yes. Last year my end of Year was 30 April. I flew overseas on 30 April arriving on 1st May . I received the status credits on around 3 May. As quick as you can say 'suck it up' the next line on the activity statement showed those credits were removed as expired. Its the day you fly that counts.

You mean you haven't received your DSC points yet after refreshing your app? Could it be an IT issue? Hmm probably try to refresh again on April 1 and see if it's fixed.
it's implied that i am the first to report my DSC this year (one day ahead of everyone else)🤣
