Double Status Credits promotion (Book by 27/2/24, travel 28/2/24-14/2/25)

I've also started taking screenshots of any SMS messages I receive, and email them to myself with the PNR in the body - makes it much easier to search for months after a schedule change!
After getting burnt by TPG shutting down an email address as they couldn't upgrade the servers to keep them running I'm now screenshotting the confirmation emails to a folder on my laptop as well.

Hoping for some assistance with some rookie questions and a quick search didnt seem to identify similar issues

I registered for double credits as I had a few trips for work to do. Our booking system is serko

Two of the flights booked through serko were booked in the time of the promotion and I received confirmation of trip but for some reason were not ticketed until after the promotion ended. Will they still qualify for the DSC?

Also my credit status rolls over very shortly - if the DSC are not added prior, will I still get the status upgrade to the next level?

I'm not too sure about the first question so won't comment, but status credits are/have been credited to the day of travel even if they are given after rollover date. Meaning of you travel before rollover then you should get the status upgrade if applicable.

Probably yes. Ticketing date isn't the issue, just when the booking was created.

Yes. The DSC will apply to the flights/membership year when earned and any status upgrade will be retroactively applied.

You have to say what TPG is otherwise I don't understand you comment.

Oh, and by the way as a general comment. what is ORC. It is not in AFFF abbreviations list?

Believe it or not, expanding the TPG acronym makes it much more confusing than not expanding it. It stands for Total Peripherals Group and hails all the way back to when TPG Telecom was actually a computer retailer (before merging with SP Telemedia, and then Vodafone Hutchison)

It should be in the list. Original Routing Credit - what you can ring up and ask for when they change your roundabout booking to a more direct one that earns fewer SCs.

And, possibly more confusing for some on this forum it could also refer to The Points Guy !

Thanks, but if your re-schedules flights includes an additional flight, will you get the additional points and SCs or are you stuck with the, dare I say it, ORC?

If you got extra stops out of the rerouting, you would not apply for ORC, you would just get them credited as you flew them.

If you reroute to a shorter route, you would get less SCs as your flown route was shorter, hence applying for ORC to be credited for the original route SCs.

Another example of where you might apply for ORC is an involuntary downgrade where you would be credited for Y but had booked for J.

Apologies in advance to Mods as I know this is off topic… I know ORC is about maintaining the original SC earn, but can it also include FF points?

More than a week after my flights and no DSC as yet :(
Don't suppose anyone has received theirs yet?
