Double Status Credits promotion (Book by 27/2/24, travel 28/2/24-14/2/25)

Anyone know how long SC's earned on an EK flight with QF flight numbers take to post?
Was this part of an itinerary also involving QF marketed and operated flights? If not, it seems off topic as EK operated flights do not qualify for QF DSCs.

Certainly was - itinerary included QF1

Has anyone changed a 1 x pax ticket to a 2 x pax ticket via the "voucher" method for the DSC changes?
Doesn't work that way.

You can't increase. You can However do the reverse and split a multiple down.

It's effectively a ticket and they can't split 1 ticket into two. They can split two pax into 2x 1 pax.

Cheers - sounds typical Middle Eastern then - Insha'llah Bukra Ma'lesh - it might happen - some time or other - god willing.
SC's have now credited for the QF ticketed flights on EK metal - has confirmed that my maths is correct and that the return leg will net me the rest of the required SC's to go from 0 SC's to retain Gold in this one trip - just before my anniversary date on the 30th of April. Bonus is that I have now gained Points Club as well

Did this current promotion allow QF-coded/EK-operated flights to earn double status credits?

SCs or DSCs?

DSCs shouldn't be earned for EK metal, with QF codeshare under this promo. If they have then you've been very fortunate imo.

No. QF marketed and operated only. Very clear.

That's what I thought. So why there's discussion of that in this double status credits promo thread?

Which is why I.asked @RSD to clarify. SC would have come through on codeshare flights as per normal. DSC should not be expected for those sectors nor taken into earn calculations.

All outbound flights (5 of them) were on QF flight numbers. The 3x QF-operated ones earned DSC's, the 2x EK operated earned SC's

A quick question, as I could not find an specific answer, I have a few DSC bookings, cancelled one a few weeks ago for a credit, today found out I need to be in NZ later in the year, coincides with the NZ sale dates, so thought I would use this credit for one of the sale business fares, but the pricing is quite a bit more, 840 one way using credit, while 540 just booking cash. The business fare will be greater than the original credit.

Do I need to call and make the booking to get the sale price? or is there a better way?

Terms of the flight credit require equal or higher value - this is why the higher fares are showing.

Thanks for this.

Should have made the original booking for 2, but I will just put it down as a learning experience.

Anyway around having booked a flight during 21-27 but forgot to register. It's worthy like 300status points so just trying to figure it out.
Did you book any other flights during the DSC period, change one of them to this seemingly bigger sector flight.

Booked 4 flights during the 21-27 and just got back from using them and realised I had forgot. Booked it during the period tho. Surely they is an escalation point or something

You could try contact saying you registered then and for some reason it didn't register, they may give you the benefit of the doubt.
