Are you meant to get the DSC on a QF coded 3K flight?
My recent trip had 5 sectors, all QF coded, 1 operated by 3K, 1 the AY wet lease.
The DSC posted for everything besides the 3K operated flight within 2 days of the normal points posting.

No go for 3K.

Basically your metal tube needs to have "Qantas" on it. The only exception being the 2 Finair planes.

Does anyone know whether you earn points and status credits as per the original booking, in case Qantas changes your flights?

I had a couple of domestic connecting flights booked during Double SC promo's (specifically for that purpose), which Qantas have now changed to direct, thus removing the connecting segment.

Yep - you need to apply for Original Routing Credit - go back a page or two and you should find info about it.

Say you've booked during the DSC (when prices where somewhat inflated). Now these same flights and class are lower - does the price promise kick in? This is for booking on the Qantas website itself of course.

The price promise relates to a 3rd party OTA selling flights cheaper than the Qantas website on the same day.

It has nothing to do with booking in February and finding the same flights cheaper in June.

I was trying to use them to book trans-tasman flights now that there is a sale.

I noticed a big discrepancy in pricing between the Normal website and the Flight credit options even though both a "business sale" fares.

Is this expected?

I've noticed similar price differences when redeeming GV's. A call to the call centre has resolved it though they often take a bit of time to verify the difference themselves and then get on with the booking (and waiving the service fee because you were not able to book the fare online).

This is a known error. Should be able to book with phone agent (fees should be waved) at the sale price.

And yes, it is very sad that it is known, and not fuxed.. clearly little incentive to do so.

Wait until AKL puts you on hold for 1 hr because they needed to be coached on how to price a multi city stop... Credits can be tedious to deal with.
