It is not a targeted offer. You don't need to register and it's open to all (except Tasmanians).

I really, really dislike the fact that status credits can be earned on anything but flying.

I'm sure it will stop when people can fly again

Although it does vary depending on whether you currently convert or not.

I had a 6000 point offer from Woolworths that I needed to enrol for by the Sunday just gone. I didn't bother because I normally shop at Coles. Kicking myself now - that would have been an easy 30 status credits.

I just joined WWR last week, coincidentally, as I have moved to an area with a Woolies nearby. I received a bonus offer of 5x points for up to four three shops with a two week validity- I think this was targeted to new WWR members. This means a spend of $400 would receive 2000 WWR points/1000 QFF points and then 10SC, not terrible given you also get $400 of groceries (but it might be hard to spend that much in two weeks?).

Darn, I just had a batch of points convert over to QFF on Saturday.

Hopefully you don't need to be a new registration.

Update - Checked account and no SCs attached to my points. Never mind....

Damn it! I saw that $50 and $100 (with $5.95 and $6.95 fees) for eftpos gift cards with 1000 bonus WRP were on offer at woolies yesterday and thought "Hmm I'll run the numbers tomorrow and then head back".

What do you know - the offer ended yesterday! Derp!

The numbers - a purchase of x2 $50 cards yields 10SC and 1000QFFP at a rate of $1.19/SC and $0.019/QFFP.

The cheapest SC/$ I have achieved thus far is $1.483. Bummed that I wasn't able to push that bar higher, though it also gives me the opportunity to push it higher yet again.

The struggle continues...

Why can't Woolworths include their Frequent Shopper Card In these types of deals so Tasmanians aren't discriminated against??

Qantas money or a card under it has 75 QF SC for joining up!
On their website now.
Qantas Premier Credit Cards | Qantas Money
It looks like a great deal on their Platinum card with the $299 annual fee, and you only need to make an "eligible purchase" to get the SCs which generally means any normal retail/non-government transaction.

Even if you don't want to make the spend or keep the card over the anniversary date for the 100k bonus points, 75SC for $300 is pretty great value if you're right on the edge of maintaining your level/going up.

Somehow it seems like it may be targeted despite the above?

Even if it isn't.. it would seem to have limited value - if the offer is only open for the next 5-6 weeks and ONLY for 50SC max it may give a small boost to a few, but not a lot, if any, to most of us.

Still.. like BP it's an effort in these difficult times so if anyone gets anything useful out of this - more power to you :)

(amusingly just had a points conversion last weekend before this showed up.. not that I got the email anyway so unlikely I'll earn anything in the next month or so, and SC I do not need (until September, anyway - so no value to me at all)

Think Positive. You'll get Lifetime Platinum 10 SC at a time.

Does anybody else find it unusual that this supposedly non-targetted offer is not published officially anywhere other than an email with a limited distribution list? If we don't get the SCs it's not like we can call Qantas and say "but AFF says I am eligible".

To those who haven't received the email, have you signed up for all marketing communications from Qantas? The bottom of the email states:

You have received this email because you are subscribed to Qantas Frequent Flyer 'Exclusive offers from our program partners' emails.

You can check this by signing in to QFF and going to Profile > Interests and Subscriptions, then scrolling down. Make sure all the below are checked.

Yep, so being subscribed isn’t the only factor in getting the email/offer.

I assume you would also need to have linked Qantas Frequent Flyer & Woolworths Rewards accounts. (Not saying the OP doesn't, but you never know...)

FWIW, I have checked with Qantas and it is definitely open to all. For those who didn't receive the email, here's the full wording:
