Just saw a woolworths offer for 1000 points if you purchase a $50 Netflix/Uber/Google Play gift card (in 2 days). This should get me my needed 10 SC to move up by the end of the month. Fingers crossed

You probably know this, but you’ll have to buy 2.

2000 woolies points needed for 10 SCs

Did you get an email offering SC, or just hoping it’s across the board?
Hoping. We will know soon i think. Plenty of people, myself included, have had points post so we’ll see if SCs follow.

BP took 10 days from initial points post to SCs post.

Good luck, here’s hoping.

Download the Woolworths Rewards app - I got an offer of 3000 WW points as a welcome bonus for downloading the app.
1500 QF points for free ;)

EDIT - for team members only.

I'm sure you'll get over it when you let go of your elitism. I'm all for anything that allows anyone to get past Qantas' monopolistic tendencies and sense of self-importance

Seems to me maybe you'd rather go with the low cost model then? Fly Tiger and JQ (and maybe VA 2.0) where there's none of that nonsense?

goodness me. I am not sure how earning status credits any which way "allows anyone to get past Qantas' monopolistic tendencies and self of self-importance"? Whatever exactly that is supposed to mean? If anything it allows one to parktake more fully of the benefits of the status and as such, buy in even more (literally!) to "QANTAS' monopolistic tendencies" ? A little confused by your argument tbh

Personally I don't care at SC's via BP, QF Premier CC or other sources. QF already said a few months back without flying they would offer other ways to earn SC on the ground.. and they're relatively small amounts. If it helps someone hop up a tier good for them... and QF benefits from the $$ (again which seems to go against your point)?

I'd also point out that this promotion is just a mirror of what VA was doing with FlyBuys for a few years so if anything they were/are catching up.

I suspect when flying resumes more normally these type offers will disappear but either way it doesn't really worry me.

I assume you need to buy e.g. 2 $50 per transaction to get separate conversions to QANTAS points? If you bought 4 in one transaction that would just be one conversion?

Need to be careful how you do this.

That shouldn't matter:

For every 1,000 Qantas Points earned with Woolworths Rewards (which will convert automatically once 2,000 Woolworths Points have been earned), members will earn an additional 10 bonus Status Credits.

Joined the new BP scheme for 10 of the 30 SC I need. Will fill the car with PULP today at Caltex at 94c/l to finish off a 2000WW pts balance for conversion for the second 10 SC I need. Just need 10 more SC before Sep 30 to get to gold.

I'm about to buy 3x iPhone 8 SE phones. Is there anyway I can convert buying 3x iPhone SE's into another 10SC?

You could buy them via Big W if you were so inclined Apple iPhone SE 128GB - Black
3 x $829 = 2487 WR points that would convert to 1243 QFF points and 10 SC

Brilliant! I didn't even think of Big W being somewhere to buy an iPhone from! That is gold. I thought I was going to have to buy from Harvey Norman, JB or Good Guys as I get 5% employee discount from all of them, but I also get 5% discount from WW Group companies which includes Big W too, so that's gold!

Now if they just had stock, my plan would be sorted. Why would I get 10 SC as well? Is that a thing for > $1,000 purchase or something?

Normal points earned is 1 WW point per $ spent. 2000 WW points converts to 1000 QFF points (if you have chosen the QANTAS points option for your Woolworths Everyday Rewards card).
