Nothing here either, but they did say that points would be posted "within six weeks", so not much point chasing it up until the end of this month?

Based on the OzBargain numbers (576 positive votes and almost 5,000 clicks) it'd be at least a million points given away, and probably closer to five million or even more once you add in the non-OzBargain people.

It will be interesting to see if the points are credited automatically to everyone that got the congratulations message, but that seems highly doubtful.

I have a reminder in my diary that today is the expiry of the waiting period for the points to post. Will be interesting to see if these points come through automatically or not.

Hope they come through soon

I'm waiting for these for myself and a number of relatives. Hope they come through soon.

Again seems highly doubtful they'll credit automatically. Qantas presumably had no intention of giving away a million points plus.

The question is how many people will pursue it and how will Qantas respond.

Been six weeks + 3 days & still nothing. Anyone have any brilliant idea's of the best way to "pursue it" ?

Nice! I'm in no rush, so long as I get them (but don't tell them that...).

I just checked with the Qantas media team, who advise the points will be transferred to members within the next 7 days.

Great news! Now I must get all the family QFF logins lined up so I can get all the points moved over my way before they notice they ever got them.
I hope this 2-factor authentication thing doesn't kick in properly before then or I'll be in a little trouble! :D

Cheers,
Matt.

The minimum amount to family transfer is 5,000 points though.

why not just update their contact number to your mobile?

That would be good but I'll wager no points received within the next 7 days (despite getting the confirmation page). Happy to be proven wrong!

The 7 days aren't up till Tuesday. I'm guessing the points will transfer then for those that get them automatically.

posted this afternoon!
