Earn points on Bank Transfers

Said the failed trans was because it has to be 5 business days before the transaction.
So even the transaction was on the 5th and i had funds between 1st and 3rd on all the months
And be careful with weekends because Citi handles weekends weirdly. I learnt this lesson a few times, very expensive.
No, I never called and argued. I don't want anyone looking at this gravy train. Losing 10k or 20k in one stuff up is nothing, comparing say, if someone were to look at my account and kill it off permanently for me.

Weekends flat out don't exist at all in Citibank-land. They just don't exist. If there's anything published by Citibank that refers to numbers of days etc. then Saturday and Sunday both count as zero.

Anyone else have their interest free period significantly shortened?

My statement end period has always been ending 12th of month, due 6th next month

Just got a reminder, that payment is due 26th of september , lo and behold checked statement and its changed.
That reduces the total interest free by 33% for me

I was given notice a couple of months ago @SOPOOR. I recall some discussion about it somewhere here.

My statement begins on the 19th, ends on the 18th, with minimum payment now due on the 2nd (used to be 12th).

I'm keeping a close eye on the new payment date in relation to my payalls, but I don't use or rely on the interest free period at all so I think there's no material change for me. I don't carry a balance on the card, or use it widely for that matter, but will make a payment to cover the months use on the 1st of the month.

20%. Notice was sent out a couple of months ago NAB were changing the card from 55 day to 44 day interest free. Just the first of many changes to come I suspect.

must have missed the notification :(

Grateful just to have this payall setup, went through the account owners QFF , very healthy QFF balance!

Yeah I'm drawing down my balance converting to Flybuys now since I discovered they have an upper limit of 1mil you can convert at one time in an emergency if you need to get out fast. So looking to draw down balance below 1mil, just to avoid the possibility of getting trapped holding too many eggs in one basket.

As in 1million qff points?

Converting to flybuys? Are you targeting cash, instead of frequent flyer miles? Or is there a trick?

Spending them at Coles on groceries, yep. No tricks. In the current landscape of rampant shrinkflation and increasing prices, spend using points is by far the best way I have of insulating myself against it. Far more immediately effective than saving in a nebulous frequent flyer scheme with no security that then just lets them be stolen by the first hacker who comes along (Velocity)

Saying this on AFF is like telling Uncle Roger that you put chilli jam in fried rice .......

Shrinkflation is rampant everywhere across the board affecting everything. I rarely drink beer anymore on account of the government's tobacco taxation strategy to it, but I looked in the fridge the other day and saw I had none left, so thought I better find something cheap and cheerful just in case someone drops in for a social visit. I got the shock of my life when I went shopping for beer for the first time in probably 6 months+
I have never even heard of something called a 16-pack before. Those didn't exist the last time I bought beer. A carton of plain old bog standard VB is now $80 FFS! I eventually bought the cheapest beer I could find that still came in 375ml cans (a rarity these days) using the FlyBuys money I got from the PayAll scheme. Using 'free' FlyBuys money helped to soften the pain, because using real money would just be too traumatic.

!!!!
Please please this not be true........
If this is true then this card is getting cancelled on my end. Every other month there’s a change in the benefits offered and it’s always for the worse.

My renewal is up next month though so I hope this will be announced sooner than later as I bet there will be issues with getting the fee refunded when closing the card.

1 - I would not trust these sorts of posts on OzB. Look at the amount of incorrect info people post, like charging annual fee to people who are on free for life, PayAll being rejected because it's being shut down, NAB is going to ruin the Citi Plus account. How many times have we heard stuffs like this before?

2 - Golden goose doesn't live forever. Party doesn't last forever

Going to be difficult to justify the annual fee when payall goes (whenever that may be), as much as I love priority pass.
