Earn Velocity points paying bills with Australia Post

I pay my water bill as i get a few extra points. I get the letter for my mobile but pay separately as i can then use amex via paypal which you cant do on the digitalmailbox

You can use American Express for some billers via MPDM, however you do get the terrible earn rate of 0.5 points / dollar as a prize. I'd be surprised if using PayPal as a payment method gets around this earn rate given they send the appropriate MCC for all transactions and this would result in 0.5 points / dollar for that method.

I get full MR points on Paypal with Plat Edge and Business Accelerator including utilities where it is offered. The exception is only 1 point/$ on the BA if there is a currency conversion

Same here.

I have given up as the number of points is small and I am not willing to spend more time chasing this. I am not sure why these things have to be so difficult ?

Still waiting for the 1,500 points. At first, they said I didn't link properly. I replied with, how come I got points before. Then they asked for details of the providers linked and other details, etc etc, but they haven't come back to me since.

I have said it before and ill say it again- i dont know why companies launch promotions theyre unable to fufill. Do they honesty think they will attract new customers by irritating them like this?!

Exactly the same for me.

Waiting, waiting...

I refuse to let it go. Don't promise it if you can't deliver it.

The E-rewards Velocity linked survey earner would be time better spent I think.

See post#48 for Velocity earning E-Rewards link.

Read the entire thread to get an idea of what you need to do. In a couple of weeks for about 40 minutes effort I've landed nearly 1,250 VFF points on surveys (opinion points earned translate at lower rate to VFF.

Update! The 1,500 points that I've been chasing have been posted to my Velocity account yesterday!!!

well done Kyle. I made my third (at final) call to the Platinum "hotline" over the weekend (and used a pre-paid mobile; the cost of chasing this clearly exceeds the 1500 points). The points may well come through over the next couple of weeks but no more promotions for me. They really make you crawl and beg for what they simply offer (and fail to mention it might be 4 months before, and if, you get it). Sideways Branson.

I made one follow-up inquiry with Velocity and then one with Australia Post.

Australia Post requested a few details and I provided them. The 1,500 point bonus appeared yesterday.

I have been collecting Velocity Points through Aust Post since it started,as of 29/092017 this arrangment is to cease, for those members who use this service.

I signed up but only used it to pay one bill as I found options with a better yield.
Did get a nice haul of points for the family andye by us all signing up though
