Cross posting so that people know-
Starthere denied my cashback claim for Dan Murphy's, so I've decided to find an alternative cashback place for the occasional cashback. But they did pay out on a cellar masters claim, so you may be able to get a further discount. Apparently gift cards are not eligible for cashback according to MARKIS10s experience. They never gave me an answer

I'm not very happy with Starthere overall, out of about 10 transactions only ~3 have been paid properly or at all. They are very quick to weasel out of everything.

I gave DM a bad rating on starthere and starthere replied saying if I had a problem to raise a dispute, I replied pointing out that had been done already. What a total waste of time and what a useless company.

I have other purchases tracking, will post update accordingly. Using discount wish card should not matter as the card is valued at full face value and treated like a normal card or cash payment

Sure, you'd like to think that. But we both had cashbacks and they were both cancelled. Others have had success though, so who knows.

Thanks for the heads up on the rating Markis10. Have also given a bad review.

I've tried strawberrynet with them as I couldn't pass up the alleged 13% discount.

Is Qwibble any better?

Thanks for that.
Gee, I'm glad that link worked & I didn't have to type in the whole thing!
I take it that there is ambiguity on whether you actually have to purchase the magazine?

Fresh is a free magazine.

I'd wondered if it was, ( having received it online but not in store)
There was the implication of a catch in the T&C's but I can't see it ( too late at night?)

Sorry about the confusion on FRESH magazine. This is a free Woolworths magazine which has receipes and coupons. When the operator scans the magazine there will be a 1 cent price increase in the transaction total. Once the transaction total has been finalised, the 1 cent will be taken off the total.

The catch is that the terms and conditions say you can't split your transaction in to multiple transactions using different cards on each transaction. I guess the trick is to keep track of which card you have used each month and whether you have scanned the fresh magazine that month for the particular card you are using. I have no idea how WW and EDR will police this restriction. That's why I wanted members to read the conditions carefully.

Fuel offer at WW.

I usually don't spend $100 at any given time at Woolworths but I thought it might be worth it this time. I took up a targeted offer worth 150 bonus points and got some great specials. The final total was $100.40. I also picked up a copy of the June Fresh magazine as part of the EDR competition. I like the fact that the 15 cent voucher is already in my account and I don't have to wait for it like the targeted offers.

Wasn't exactly sure where to post this, nor if this has been mentioned previously, but I received a new Red Energy (Gas & Electricity) Rewards member book in the mail on Friday. Having a bit of a flick through and realise that I can purchase discounted Wish Gift cards online. Hooray! Noted also that I can purchase discounted Coles & Kmart too.

Robd please let us know how quickly you get the gift cards in the mail and what credit card types you can use to buy the cards.
This looks like good news for my Victorian staff!

Will place an order in the next couple of days.

The Coles/Kmart cards are only Visa/MC. Clicking on the Wish Card, takes you to:-

You can use Visa/MC & Amex for the Wish Cards.
