Shifted to burning points with Q lately, feel uncomfortable with 0.5M points with them at this point in time, problem is, can I burn them faster than them burning me...?

I have moved a lot of spending to Westpac Altitude and Diners to give a greater variety of choice. MMM Maybe I need an Amex MR card too?

A young family makes it pretty hard to burn through points, sure I am trying my best and pretty much ALL flying is now done in J from either upgrades or JASA's. The main problem is finding the time to fly, and some of my flying there is limited or no Q option for some of the routes I am flying.

Also no QF81/QF82 makes it just that little harder to burn points, so time to put some effort into KF / SQ

I am starting to think the same as you but unfortunately I am stuck with close to 1,000,000 QFF points until at least next year. Hope they are still around.

I have no doubt Joyce has to go and before the next AGM. Time to give someone a go who is willing to try and keep the airline alive and flying aircraft to international destinations for many years to come.

Thanks..FB points aren't as much "fun" as EDR/QFF, but I understand what you are saying. I am having a sulk at FBs though after being chatted for doing multi car fill recently. This was the only way I could make FB points worth more than 0.5c. I currently have a NAB 1:1 card and the Coles one would be better. I've recently come across CC refusals and may wait a while before making an application for that one

Starthere denied my cashback claim for Dan Murphy's, so I've decided to find an alternative cashback place for the occasional cashback. But they did pay out on a cellar masters claim, so you may be able to get a further discount. Apparently gift cards are not eligible for cashback according to MARKIS10s experience. They never gave me an answer

I'm not very happy with Starthere overall, out of about 10 transactions only ~3 have been paid properly or at all. They are very quick to weasel out of everything.
