I'll get Extra Dry to top up my dwindling supply of it, so I'll be ready for Xmas :D and score 500 points (based on 10x a 50l tank fill up)

Nice to add this to the other EDR offer for 1K points on $150 spend (Mrs LW's card)

With all these 15, 20 etc c/litre discounts, I guess we can expect to see the underlying fuel price rise (or remain high) by at least 10-15c/l for the next month :(

I guess it could be coincidence, but every time they offer the big fuel discounts, the fuel price seems to go up by a similar amount for a few weeks.

I agree, they put them out at the high part of the cycle which is just over two weeks, the NRMA has a good report on what should be happening:

[h=3]Looking Ahead[/h] Over the past week, the average Mogas price fell 1.8 cents per litre and the average Terminal Gate Price for unleaded fuel fell 1.6 cents per litre (see Figure 1), with the Australian dollar rising against the US dollar. Given the current market forces, with a decrease in the Terminal Gate Price and a lower Mogas price, regular unleaded petrol prices should fall 2 cents per litre over the next price cycle.
  • Average regular unleaded prices in Sydney should be between 133 (at the low point of this cycle) and 147 cents per litre (at the high point of the next price cycle).
  • Average diesel prices in Sydney should continue to remain under 149 cents per litre this week.
  • Average LPG pump prices in Sydney should remain under 79 cents per litre over the next seven days.

You sometimes need to stretch things - last week in Melbourne ULP had been around $1.33 for quite a while and surely would be going up.

I had earned two 18¢ vouchers the prior Sunday - I has a nearly empty tank and a nervous wait until Wednesday where one of the 18¢ posted online.

That evening filled up at a nett $1.149 per litre ... by Friday it was back up to $1.48 in metro Melbourne.

Not so in some areas though.

In country Vic, where I live, the price hardly wanders at all and certainly not in line with the discount cycles.

It this the selection list?

Fuel Offer

I would expect so, pretty small selection.
They updated the ad in Fridays paper (Herald Sun) to state "Buy any 2 of THESE selected Beer ..." and increased the list.

  • Plat blonde $37
  • Bundy $65
  • Extra Dry $40
  • Ju=im Beam $72

In addition to the above, the ad now indicates:

I think the Mayan calendar stopped the other day so I have a new calendar on my wall.
Woolworths seems to be using a calendar that I recognize so this 2013 year should go pretty well.
Dan Murphy's Bull Creek must be close to opening soon provided nothing Mayan occurs.

What a great offer. But sadly out of stock when I tried to order.

Brilliant markis10, thanks for posting Why should I use the EDR bonus offer (300 bonus points for $100 spend in my case), when I can use this one!!

I'll get 500 points for ~ $80 spend

Thanks very much. Crown lager and a decent fuel discount! Excellent

DeKa that looks easy. If you find a quicker Coles 5% off Wish card style of thing I am interested. National Seniors can take between two weeks and three weeks. Sure I am not at the stage of not buying greenish bananas but I get them for the olds and running out of cards is a distinct possibility.
Since I started supplying gift cards they now get prawns and cherries so I enjoy seeing the sparkle in those older eyes.
Woolies Wish cards from our RAC in WA never take longer than 2 days.....simply brilliant.

Sadly I think both WOW/EDR & Qantas have lost the plot...

Edit: also 100th "like" to this thread
