EDR Targeted Bonus Point Promotions

In certain cases better to not be offered and then not go out of your way to spend, if they’re not going to honour the offer anyway ;)

$69 for some wine would seem to suit the bill, my local delivery guy is now on autopilot!

The cellar is at 155 bottles at the moment!

77 spots free for red/white and 42 for Champagne.

I actually have a storage PROBLEM (too much wine, not enough cellar space, including stacking cases on the floor). Although VinoMofo is the main culprit of my recent glut.

Solution to the problem

1. Drink more wine
2. Build more cellar space :D

Same problem for me as well. Specialty wine fridges hold 166 and 24, spare fridge is holding 20-30 and garage and rooms hold a fair few cases! I actually took up the VinoMofo secret Penfolds St Henri Deal, hopefully they have some more good deals like that. Markis10 post from Monday sucked me into the Penfolds Thomas Hyland deal (got the Chardy) with the red 12 and 1,000 points bonus offer and $50off voucher.

So now I have case numbers for all of the "missing" points and will email through copies of the receipts - happy to wait the 7-10 days for the points to show in my account (investigation, plus message transfer to IT area to process, then the 72 hours to wait for it to show up).

I had to go through this process a few years when a bonus point offer at BigW failed to post. Lets just say, claiming missing points from EDR is one of the biggest pain in the cough customer service processes I have ever endured and that includes dodgy ISP's like TPG and Dodo.

When WW had the bonus point offers earlier in the year, I noticed 10 bonus points didn't post. I initially emailed them, but then they requested I call them, but I let it slide as I knew the hassle to claim was not worth the effort for 10 points.

Just, wondering if these failures are due to poor IT development/infrastructure at WW. WW should have a look at these forums, as their are many disgruntled customers and look at improving there game!

I was beginning to think I was the only person who thought it was a steal!

I just don’t believe the onus is on me to prove I bought particular items, when they have an electronic system and at one stage were telling people to scan every time, even below qualifying spends, for bonus point draws. So they must be able to record what has been bought, not only for that, but because they tailor offers to what you buy frequently.

If I had more time on my hands and wanted to fight it I’d consider taking it as high as I can get it, but that would just make me spite them more and my shopping wouldn’t be enjoyable (not that it’s that amazing, but better than being at Coles). It’d be lovely if a company representative looked over here and acknowledged some fault/tried to help, but I’m not holding my breath.

If anyone has an email address slightly above a customer service agent that wont care one iota, I’ll send off a politely worded email with my gripe for being ripped off by a system I like a lot, and tell everyone to join.

Agree with you on this Sam. I spent several frustrating days chasing bonus points about a month ago and finally gave up. The callcentre staff are like a brick wall and you can't get past them to get someone with authority to complain to. The also just keep repeating their message - without a receipt they can;t help. I pointed out to them that they had some extremely sophisticated software that tracked every purchase I made and targetted offers accordingly, further that they knew that I had made the qualifying purchase (as the standard QFF points had posted) and they had a record that I activated the offer, so it was beyond me why I needed to give them a receipt number to get the bonus points awarded.
Now I keep every receipt and as soon as I get home I make a note on it as to which promo it relates to. Once the bonus points have posted I dispose of the receipt. Ridiculous that you have to go the these lengths.

3.both of the above.

I was beginning to think I was the only person who thought it was a steal!

Oh boy I have a storage problem too, having just bought the CM mixed dozen, and the Hyland Cab Sav. I am contemplating buying another 2 dozen before August when my Epiqure membership expires too - to get the 8000 bonus points for 4 cases purchased in a year.

Great, I didn't need to hear about this 4 case 8,000 points bonus!

I got the above offer from Big W on nappies and selected baby products. I have an adequate stock of nappies from other offers already and I don't want to stockpile more as my youngest is toilet training at the moment. The offer also came through late on Wednesday.

Pull Ups qualify!

You're not meant to say what it is :p Although it is generally easy enough to determine what wine a secret deal actually it is. Not sure if that is by design or mistake.

... And yes, I got that one, you won't ever beat that price. They had some real rippers when they first started. It will be really interesting to see how their business scales over the next 6-12 months. It is a lot harder to get 200/300/400/500+ cases of a really great wine for a really great price (compared the small volumes when they started (50 or 100)).

(and this possibly needs it's own thread).

Not sure how sophisticated their environment is, but I suspect it could be as simple as their SQL doesn't match the written T&C (e.g. can qualify multiple times vs select disticnt EDR card numbers that qualify).
