EDR Targeted Bonus Point Promotions

Ok. I am confused.
I got the spend $20.00 on fresh Meat for 100 bonus points
The T&C says I can make more than on transaction , but it also says it can only be redeemed once during the offer period.
So do I spend $.20.00 ? Or do I spend $100.00 in one and get 500 points? Or do I spend 5 lots of $20.00 ( or is the offer contingent on the minimum $30 spend threshold?) at the checkout and get the 100 bonus points?

You get the bonus once when you hit the spend, in one transaction or coughulative over many.

Big W tiered spend:
$30-$49 = 50pts
$50-$99 = 100 pts
$100+ = 200pts
300 pts for $30 at BWS
300 pts for 2 cases of beer at BWS
Save $5 at WOW when you Spend $30
250 pts for $80 at WW Liquor
and a couple of Double points at WOW.

Bit sick of all the booze offers, One email headline was we miss you and all it was Double points at WOW, WTF!!! The tired offer at Big W is insulting. Will probably just do one offer this week unless there is great savings on this week.

2 this morning.

I got the tiered macro one, and yet another "let's make Mr ksheep drunk and fat" (ie buy a case of beer from BWS for 300pts)

I got the 200 points for $20 pet care offer again...still have plenty of cat food so Ill pass this time....

I must be thick. What does that mean?

Youll only receive a maximum of 100 points, but you can take as many transactions as youd like to spend the $20.

Got the tiered Macro one like oneworldplus2.
Same last week - activated it but didnt shop.

Gone from drought to deluge overnight, must have been the holiday after all:

Me
100 pts for macro, use multiple (should be fun)
300pts for $30 spend at BWS

Markis10, I got the same offers as you, never had a macro multiple use offer...perhaps you can give me some tips in relation to the following: -

  1. Do I need to buy macro products as individual transactions or will I get 100 points per item if I buy in a multiple shop?
  2. Where is the value to be found in regard to cost per point and purchasing something useful and of reasonable quality while using this macro offer to its maximum.

Thanks :D

shintaro10x, when looking for marco products, have a look in the fresh food 'Macro Organic' section for any specials.
You can sometimes pick up food they are trying to get out the door.
Serfty picked up a half pumpkin for $1. I usually see 'Macro' - green beans/snow peas/cauliflower/cabbage for ~$1.

Good questions, question 1 remains unanswered as most of us that I am aware of had to put in a claim and send through receipts last time, and I believe they paid out on each macro product per receipt rather than a limit of one per receipt, as Markis10jr did not go to WOW 151 times. Question 2 does change depending on the specials, the cheapest at present is the tinned tomatoes which have a long shelf life, also checking the fruit and meat cabinet for markdowns can often result in organic product cheaper than normal, and with meat of course you can freeze it. The other good thing with the tomatoes is you have proof that an EDR card was scanned as its only $1.16 with such a scan!

All very good information there, thank you for the reply, I think that the tinned tomatoes is where the value is and we do use these quite a lot for pasta night...! I guess that I need to be very careful to keep all reciepts this time around to be on the safe side...

Was looking forward to an offer like this to keep me in front of Mr LW... :D:D

Lets see how many macro points I can manage this week lol

In relation to recent 50 points per Macro item. I bought 10 Macro items ( 9 different products) on one receipt and recently got 300 points. I emailed last night to query. I initially thought it might have been per product but checked receipts and it was as above. All on one receipt. I reckon they owe me 200 points.

How can the system make a mistake like that. I don't recall seeing a cap on the number of points that could be earnt.

Maybe caution says print out the offer and staple the receipts to it and then check in due course.

i thought they had stooged me on the double points offer to, but I see it takes 8 weeks after about the 25th May to post, I am going to check....no faith I guess.!!

Two offers for me this week.

Deli offer: 4 items for 50 points, 5 items for 100 points and 6 items for 200 points. Goods can be purchased across several transactions.

I also got a Big W offer for childrens clothing. 1 item 50 points, 2 items 100 points, 3 or more items 200 points. All items have to be purchased in one transaction.

Does anyone know if the fridges near the deli with the pre packaged cheeses, salads, soups, pates, lasagne, etc. fall under the "deli" promotion, or is it just the items that you are served from the deli counter ?

Don't discount the profiling. They are very clever. They may have you not as an organic food lover but as a points lover. There may be a man in the office saying: "let's give him the ballet shoes offer this week to see if he bites. $10 says he does".
Pick me for the ballet shoes offer .... two dancing daughters are expensive to keep up with the footwear requirements!

I got the Double Points for spend over $30 at WW ... for the 4th week in a row! Seems like I have been profiled as a "boring, stuck-in-a-rut" customer . A little variety would be nice.

3 for our house

250 points for $30 spent on liquor
200 points for 6 deli items ( or 50 for 4 items and 100 for 5 items)
200 points for a spend of $150 or more at Safeway or Woolies on line
