Seems a couple of things have gone weird at EDR this week.


a) Received a use once Spend more than $30 and get $5 off. I used this for making two purchases of $30 and received the $5 discount twice. Looking at the time stamps on the till receipts, these two transactions were completed within one minutes of each other, perhaps it was quicker than the EDR system updates across its network.....

Well I received the get $5 off offer when you spend $50 or more at woolworths, after doing the weekly shop today I was expecting the $5 discount, but to my surprise we received a discount of $20, I now assume that the offer was $5 per $50 spend increment, however the T&C's do not state this...

Things to note for your exclusive offer
Offer can only be redeemed once during the offer period
Offer valid from 4 June to 10 June 2012 at Woolworths supermarkets
Offer excludes selected purchases including smoking/tobacco products, liquor, gift cards and selected services

I used the 20c discount today. Saved $14 at the pump (and got AMEX points). Split the bill at the checkout too, got my 200 point for the Select products, and then paid separate for the Coke (I wanted the paper voucher).

You know what's ironic though? I got a $14 discount from buying Coke, but then bought an overpriced $4.50 bottle of Coke at the servo.

I went to the new WOW again yesterday and saw the same girl patrolling the self check out, as I did last week. Only spent ~ $10 but she fell in love with my son and gave mr a $5 discount voucher for my next shop (was meant to spend $50 to get one). Flashed my sons' EDR card to get a transaction hoping to trigger some EDR bonus offers.

Went shopping with the kids again today but forgot the voucher . Spent $69, this time on my EDR card. Let's see if that helps break my drought.

They have sent them on public Hols in the past, it's statement time so maybe they will be on the statement, back. On the 12th March most also missed out on the Sunday night.

Nothing for me either but I have been known to go weeks without and offer.
However the last 5 weeks I have had offers each week and I must admit I am getting acustomed to it.

I haven't heard of anyone getting an offer so "no news is good news".
We will see tomorrrow!

That's reassuring. I checked my mail this am and thought I just hadn't had any EDR love. My offers had beef decreasing from a recent high of 4, to 1 last week.

The psychology is interesting. If I don't get an WOW offer I like I tend to use Coles to make them suffer for their lack of consideration!
