Just speak to your printer and make up same of your own "with compliments for a VALUED CLIENT labels"

Half the population would'nt know a good wine from a bad one and quite often it'sonly a matter of opinion anyway. For most people the Goodwill fact you gave them a gift far outweighs the cost
Alas, most of my A clients are red drinkers and have collections, so hard to slip in a dud. I agree about the B & C clients - but I'm not into the re-marking of the bottles. Most are nicely surprised and my reasoning for doing it is as you said - a goodwill retention strategy.

I don't think the offers are totally random.
I reckon there are some triggers in play.
If you buy Select & Macro all the time why do they need to entice you. I reckon there is a boffin behind locked doors in a secret room at EDR trying to manipulate what we buy and laying bets with his mate on who will respond and to what extent and then trying to slot square pegs into square holes.

Once i had my $20 spend for health and beauty sorted (200 bonus) I slipped a few random macro items in my basket tonight to see if that triggers anything.

I've never shopped at BWS (Mr Natalie is my supplier) and have never gotten a bonus offer for there. Makes me think there is some kind of non random-ness about the offers.

I just found a 300 points for a $30 spend at BWS offer sitting in my junk mail folder. Not sure what happened but have activated it and noted in diary.....spend 30 bucks at BWS this weekend

It cost me $982.56 in total but this will drop to $600 or so after my charity donations come off my tax, sadly wine is not tax deductible. Had I not received any offers my spend would have not been too different. Markis10jr has only spend $200, mostly on his Macro offer mid quarter:

Struggling to use your Frequent Flyer Points?

Frequent Flyer Concierge takes the hard work out of finding award availability and redeeming your frequent flyer or credit card points for flights.

Using their expert knowledge and specialised tools, the Frequent Flyer Concierge team at Frequent Flyer Concierge will help you book a great trip that maximises the value for your points.

This was discussed during the last Select offer. Purchasing dog and cat food, or tinned tomatoes or other similar items and donating them to a charity. You get a signed receipt and attach it to the original receipt(s) [hint - photocopy the receipt for longevity]. put in your tax records and claim the amount paid as a donation to a charitable institution. You must confirm that it is an eligible charity.

Some of the offers are triggered by certain spends, some by location and some by your age. I suspect the macro offers is either triggered by your age or whether you buy healthy food.

Obviously they are pushing MACRO, I was in Woolies this morning and a girl had a stand there giving tastings on MACRO dips

And a few people have got the offer going by the lack of tomatoes at a few gold coast supermarkets this morning, and that was before I got there, luckily no one checked fresh produce for the markdown macro pumpkin for 70c and limes for 99c.

Spent $ 56 this morning for 450 bonus points, pet food $ 20 and alcohol $ 30. I'm going to marinate the dry dog food in the Coronas and see if the dog likes the taste !! if he does I'll get him a EDR card too.

I always look at what other people have in their shopping trolley, & how they pay & if they use any loyalty cc&/rewards card.

Thinking about this AFF group, I can see it now, person, with a twitch, clutching their QF linked Amex or other to get 1.25-1.5 points/$, plus EDR card, in their sweaty little hand, queued up at the checkout with a very interesting assortment of things in the trolley.

Except for the twitch, thats me :) And in my other hand I carry my phone so I can check my bonus point email to make sure Im getting the right bonus!

I have been known to have the email open as well (where I've been buying in isolation), otherwise I use Notes on iPhone to have all the offers (and their owners)

You guys don't use the app? I find it quite useful and just for the bonus offers. Plus I can then make sure I've activated them.
