Same for Mrs LW on both offer and response. It was the only offer we got from 4 cards

and they have hit it. Don't value points that highly. Will register but pass - and give our feedback

I got my offer today of spend $60 or more and get 150 bonus points. Not sure if it's a good deal or not :)

Well it was better than mine which was zilch!
Sadly I had to do a big shop today, (had to stock up a few items for the son, left home keeping the home fires burning - not literally I hope!), had been holding off hoping for some good offers. The only thing was a reminder for a bag of potatoes and they will only rot from the lack of cooking from number 2 son.

I bet I will get offers over the next few weeks and I will be out of the country. But happily they are award flights. So I am happy anyway.

I'm a sad case. I went into Big W today. Bought me some licorice and a frying pan. That's my Father's Day gift sorted for a bit over $30. That's also 200 points for $30. Hunted through the menswear section, found some Explorer socks for $20/3prs. Awesome! I'm a fan of these very thick and comfy socks, which help keep Canberra's winter away from nipping my ankles. Besides, whenever I get some good socks, the rest of the family steals them. And also 200 points for $20, filling out the dual offer nicely.

Got to the checkout, scanned the card, scanned the saucepan, scanned the liquorice, scanned the socks... Uh-oh. They come up as $18. *gulp* I need $20 for the points. Maybe I could haggle the price up a couple of bucks?

Nah, it doesn't work that way. Not with these bloody computers.

I scooped the stuff back into my basket and headed for the menswear section. Maybe I could find a two dollar hankie... Geez.

Turns out that some moron had left an $18 3-pack amongst the $20 3-packs. There was some slight difference. None of the other 3-packs really excited me - they were mostly black socks and black socks are prime targets for my son, as opposed to the more cheerful shades of dull green I favour. Found a better deal - 2-packs of Explorer socks on special for $10 each. I got a pack of black and a pack of green. And checked the price at one of those handy scanning machines before returning to the checkout.

So that was my adventure. I got home, printed out the emails, stapled the dockets and punched them into a cheery orange Atoma binder. After hearing horror stories here, i'm going to make sure I get all the points I deserve!

I'm a sad case too Skyring. I spent 5-10 minutes at the Big W instore scanners in various attempts trying to get exactly $20 in confectionery for gifts for others and a treat for me. The best I could get was $20.32. I then added some kids socks and some wrapping paper to get the total to $30.26. I saw the everyday rewards notation appear on the register screen but as the total is under $31 it won't apppear on my EDR account. I have the receipt in a box next to my computer where I'll keep it until all the various points post in my account.

I bet there has been a big increase in "wandering shoppers" in woolworths stores now chasing targeted offers with the minimum spend :D

I'd be interested to know what the call center says, if you decide to call them. I've never heard of receipts with two sets of printing about points. It's possible that they will still credit the bonus points although if you don't want to risk it then you're welcome to make another transaction tomorrow as you suggested.

I have an update. The points have come up in the account (even though the receipt said two things - that I had earned, and I could have earned the points). The fuel voucher however did not come up in my account. I've emailed customer service with an explanation and a scan of the receipt .. they have replied saying they're looking into it.

Right, it would be nice, EDR, if you stump with some mid week offers tomorrow, otherwise you'll get no spend from me

What about come "welcome back" offers for our kids accounts :D

Same here. MrNatalie did a big shop last night and earnt his bonus points. No reason for me to go to the shops anytime soon as a result.

all junior member accounts here been quiet for many months too...!

This week

shopper 1 (SWMBO...I don't think has ever used her EDRC)): Intro offer: spend $30 at WW and choose between 100 bonus points or 10c/litre off petrol. A no brainer NOW, thanks to information posted earlier. Accept the 10c per litre in this account that gets points instead of petrol discount. Even 40 litres at 5 points per litre is a winner over the base 100 points. I wonder if this offer is some sort of test?.....The family failed it the first time round :)

Shopper 2(me): tiered spend at Big W, same as many others. I must commend them on this. I never set foot in a Big W but will, of course, join the hordes looking for 30.01 of stuff that i really need. PLUS: Spend $60 at WW and get 150 bonus points. This goes last on the list

The offspring who have been doing a lot of shopping recently (compared to SWMBO...see above) got no offers. This was despite son 2 getting and taking up his first offer last week. I wonder if children (even adult age) are being weeded out?

I too am curious about the big surprises promised next week
