EDR Targeted Bonus Point Promotions

Ah, that is interesting. I have a tiered coffee offer too. But mine provides 250 points for $20 of coffee:

$10 - $14 100 points
$15 - $19 150 points
$20 or more 250 points

Perhaps they've worked out that your elasticity of demand for coffee is much less than mine; ie, you regularly buy coffee irrespective of price, whereas my coffee purchases are much more price sensitive and therefore I need a good offer to entice me to purchase. Their modelling is indeed right (because I buy my coffee elsewhere) so I'll reward their price sensitive offer with my custom!

From memory my last coffee offer was the same as your current one.

Which means that my next one will be the same as your current one. Oh dear. A self fulfilling prophecy of commercial hegemony, made all the worse because we can see them doing it to us!

Three offers so far for the household.

Me, spend $50 at Big W for 100 points and spend $10 on seafood at WW for 100 points.

I don't think I'll take up either offer. In my Big W offers from previous weeks I've been able to pick up more than 300 points for only a $30 spend so a $50 spend for only 100 points sounds like an insult to me. I've had the seafood offer about 5 times and only taken it up once. I think the only reason I started getting the seafood offers was I let a friend use my card once and she purchased fresh seafood on it. I don't usually buy it.

Partner, spend $20 across various fresh food departments at WW for 100 bonus points. Offer can be qualified for across several transactions. I might be able to fit this into my meal planning for no extra cost if I'm very careful. My intention is to spend $100 on Friday to take up the general 15 cent offer but I want to put this on my card as I don't want WW to think my partner can spend $100 on one shopping trip. I want his offers to be for lower spends.

Got this...

So we are not just limited to the Everyday Rewards week of winning.

Have several individual offers already today. Nothing too generous though.

I also received this offer, guess I could do it as part of todays double point offer?

Is it statement time, the offers I got are similar to those, spend at Woolies, BigW and BWS for 500 and 100 for fresh fish.

We both received the same offer, double points over $30 spend at Woolies on Monday (today). It is a very interesting offer as lately I have been doing our major shop each Monday, using whichever EDR card has the better bonus. I have been getting lots of Big W offers lately as well but I very rarely need anything from Big W so they mostly go to waste.

If anyone has the coffee offer and wants to buy something ... Nescafe Gold is on special for $12.99 (reduced from $16.99). That makes it two jars for the >$20 people, and three jars for the >$35 people like me.

MrsDeKa told me she'd better not stop drinking instant coffee as we now have three jars!
