Wonder how their next quarter will look when the lack of bonus points filters through?

Somehow I do not think the general population are indicative of AFF.

Have you seen how many people do not even have Everyday Rewards cards? I have not come across many people outside of AFF who actually care about FF points and who end up going somewhere just for the sake of going somewhere or wanting status just for the sake of having status or caring about lounge access etc.

Very good points JohnK. However WOW cannot not ignore us more hardcore point shoppers, as for all we know, we are the narrow section of the population that provides their cherry on top! EDR IMO has dumbed down their program to compete with the dumbed down version of Flybuys.

This week, I got 6c fuel offer for spend above $40 on meat.

Sorry we'd shopped on Sat and my mother had given me a spare Coles 8c offer expiring 22/10 which I used (better than any on my EDR card).

Gave them my unsubtle feedback about points

I like how EDR gave us the extra chance to send them more feedback about coughpy fuel offers.
I suggest to everybody to keep feedback coming so we can make them realise the errors of their ways!
FWIW I heard fuel prices are coming down in the next fortnight,

While feedback is great, all that Woolies will look at is the actual numbers... What has the promotion cost them ? What revenue did it bring in ?

The only EDR offers i have received in the last month are either fuel discount offers (useless to me because I do not own a car) or the offer to spend $100 each week for 4 weeks for a $20 gift card (no way I can spend $100 per week in the supermarket). Flybuys have now sent me vouchers giving me a $10 saving for $40 transaction or 2000 points for $40 transaction in alternate weeks until the end of December. Guess where I will be doing my supermarket shopping.

I think I have found the link and within the article is the podcast of what LW heard and just to correct LW, Coles grew 3.7% and WOW 2.3%.

Coles Profity is up, WOW is down. my shopping patterns are definitly different now they are not providing the Bonus FF points and I don't think I am Robinson Crusoe. we might only be a small percentage but sometimes thoses small percentages business goes straight to the bottom line
Keep filling out the FEEDBACK to WOPW EDR eventually they might take notice

My EDR card is currently only seeing the light of day when the the tank needs filling. Fortunately, I have jnr's WW employee discount card saving me 5% at the supermarket. Even the use of the EDRCC has been put on the back burner, with the need to spend $5k in the next 3 mths to get the bonus 10,000 pts on the new Virgin Flyer CC.

Thanks for the cough offers WW. It's making my shopping all very simple at the moment.

Well with me being in Tassie for a while and Woollies only offering fuel discounts when we are going away so of no use it means Coles are doing very well from us.

Coles have me for the next 10 weeks at least as follows.

1. Weeks 1, 3, 5 and 7 - Spend $100 or more in one shop and receive $20 off
2. Weeks 2, 4, 6 and 8 - Spend $100 or more in one shop and receive 4,000 FlyBuy points
3. Week 9 - Spend - Spend $130 or more in one shop and receive $25 off
4. Week 10 - Spend $130 or more in one shop and receive 5,000 FlyBuy points

These offers came with my Flybuys statement along with lots of other offers I may or may not take up but generally offering me things at half the normal points. On top of that am receiving 8c a litre off petrol so why bother taking up the Woolies offers at all. This kills the current spend $100 per week for the next three weeks to receive a $20 voucher from Woolies.

Took advantage of the week 1 offer and now they have even offered me triple points for my next purchase as well

Overall, I much prefer FF points to Flybuys but current offers have pushed me to Coles. In effect, I am getting the equivalent of 600 plus bonus FF points each week by giving me an ongoing $20 cash back each time. I might be imagining it but I think some of the specials are better as well

MrsDeKa - 12cpl fuel voucher for $5 haircare spend. I think we'll use this one (and use the voucher for points).

The Coles vouchers have us covered for the next couple of months too.

I like your flybuys offers nickfromeastryde. I'll be using the flybuys coupons from our household leading up to chirstmas. Details of our offers are in the flybuys targeted thread. My targeted offers from EDR haven't been that good and with the 8 cent fuel offer being extended til the end of November, there's no incentive for me to spend over $30 at WW.
