I have to keep track of several household accounts. By my memory the offers always have the members first name in the subject line of the email. Has the pattern changed?

No name on the email at all....addressed as Hi,

And I think usually the username or card number comes at the end of the email too. We haven't received any for a while so this is using my fuzzy memory.

Every email/offer we've received has started with Hi xyz,

Not this one.

The offers for our 4 accounts always have the persons name in the subject line of email and also start off the email with "Hi ABC, ....".

This sounds like a generic general offer versus the named targeted offer

This sounds like a generic general offer versus the named targeted offer

A generic offer that only one person here has received? Versus at least 2 reports of 200 points for $20 on fresh meat. I got the $20 offer and my name is in the subject, in the salutation and my card number is in the fine print.

Someone in this household got 100 for $10 spend on meat. The household has 4 cards & the email from EDR wasn't addressed to a person, I'm sure all past emails have been addressed by name.......now you got to check who's card number the offer is for.

Trap for young players....

As posted above (bold) the card No was quoted......however, no name.

The fine print of the offer.....

Don't forget. This offer has been selected especially for you, cardholder XYZ, and can be redeemed once. Please activate your offer before you shop and swipe your Everyday Rewards card or enter your card number at the time of purchase to qualify for your reward. The qualifying amount can be spent in one or as many transactions as you like. You'll find your reward in your Everyday Rewards account up to 7 days after the offer end date.

The offer is for a specific card holder & you need to register in the normal manner.

No biggie, just need to cross reference the 4 cards to see which one of us received the offer.

Just cracked the 65k points on my EDR account, was just under 50K this time last year which really shows how points dried up Q4 last year, hopefully things are on the improve now

Everyday Rewards Card : 65635
Furthermore my standard EDR + QEDRCC points earn is sitting just over 257,000 points earn since December 2010, so both programs have been pretty good for us, hopefully much more bonus booty offers still to come

Everyday Rewards Qantas Credit Card : 191591
Total Qantas Frequent Flyer points earned : 257226

Here's a double-pronged question for the EDR gurus:

Fuel offers are no use to me (I have a fleet card).

- When I get an EDR or FB offer of a fuel discount, should I click through and "activate" them (from either of FB or EDR) knowing i'll never use them, or should I just delete the emails?

- Will non-clicking or clicking and then not using have an impact on the frequency or type of offers I receive (either way)?

I would activate, then follow up via the feedback option that you prefer points only offers, by activating they still know your there, just waiting for the right bait...

I would suggest the opposite. That is, don't activate but leave feedback. That way they know you don't want the offer because you haven't activated it, and why.

Having done that, I've now been without offers for a bit. They don't love me anymore.

Reset the focus to epiqure! (Although like your goodself I tend to only buy when there are bonus points on offer.

Haven't had an Everyday Rewards offer for two weeks now.

very happy with Epicure at present. bonus points are the attraction

Mr Natalie received an offer for 300 bonus points for a $50 spend

I haven't been "shopping" in 2 weeks, so am hoping Woolies has noticed this and considers enticing me back with an offer like that... would be even better if they enticed me back before I have to buy food as I'm nearly out :p

However, as predicted, that Easter offer was far too big of a spend!

Just received another we miss you offer. That makes it 3 out 6 for my family.

Fingers crossed. I dont think Mr Natalie has been in months. From memory all of the big spends have been in my card. You never know your "luck"

25c off fuel voucher is now in my account from the weekend shop.

Is this 12.5 points per litre? (150 x 12.5 = 1875 points)

No love for me :(

Good time to go back to Singapore

Picked up a 500 and 300 bonus by spending two $50 notes.
I will try to use these in First Class in the next few months.
