EDR Targeted Bonus Point Promotions

I would like to thank whoever (whomever?) from Everyday Rewards lurks these forums, for giving me an offer at last. I will make use of it.

Ended up with the 'spirits' offer as mentioned recently, and though I don't drink any of those listed, may pick up some gifts.

Disappointing to hear points haven't been posting as assumed though, I re-read the terms several times and think multiple bottles of the same or different should add up to a hefty points haul. It's not a bad offer.

And here I was earlier today doing the numbers and thinking what a good person I've been to be saving so much money... :p

I had a 30cpl voucher on my EDR account which expires 22/03.

I filled up today, 60 litres and scanned my EDR card. I checked my account this afternoon and the 30cpl is no longer there, nor does it show as redeemed or expired?

What gives?

When you redeem for points they disappear for a while, the reappear as 'pending'. Are you set up for points or discounts?

I'm set up for points! I couldn't care less about the price of fuel. I work away 4 weeks on 1 week off so I rarely buy fuel anyway.

If I don't get my points I'll snap! Falling Down incident coming,

The Rok, within a minute of scanning card, they disappear from "available" into the "void" and usually appear as "redeemed" within 2 days with the relevant details of purchase.

I was similarly concerned when I first noticed them disappearing, but now expect it. Never had them fail to post :D

I wasn't very impressed with the short expiry date on the gift card but I was aware of this from the beginning of the promotion. I hope people read the fine print and don't get caught out. It shouldn't be a problem for me as I'm at Woolworths every week and I usually check for gift cards before I pay at the checkout.

Yay!

Thanks for pointing out the expiry date. I probably would have missed that... But if you've been hitting your spending target every week for 3 weeks,I assume Woolies is guessing it won't take you too long to use a $15-$40 gift card. All things considered.

Well, thankfully its now showing as "Awaiting Confirmation" in my "Redeemed Offers" section on EDR.

Pheeeewwwwwww!!!

900 QFF Points for a tank of fuel I was going to need anyway is not bad at all. Think it might be time to trade in the fuel miser I'm driving and get a guzzler, oh the joy. Its times like these I regret buying the Diesel over the V6 Petrol…. Off to my friendly Perth VW dealer I go. Choose your dealer before you choose your car my cough, choose the highest fuel consumption first…

I noticed that 500 points posted last night for the 'Spirits' offer - I actually bought 4 bottles of JW Black so expecting 2,000 points

Will wait to see what gets transferred across to QFF before ringing in to complain

Only 500 points posted to QFF so have just fired off an email query to Everyday Rewards enquiring when the remaining points will be posted. I bought all my bottles as one purchase but my reading of the T&C's makes me think that that should be OK

Still no love here for me. I think EDR are giving me the cold shoulder as I only shopped on week 1 of the Easter promotion. Maybe I should return the feeling, and hold out for a "we miss you offer".

April 28 is a short expiry?

That is at least 6 weeks away and more than enough time to enjoy the $30 discount for doing nothing more than shopping....

Some people put gift cards aside and use them for luxuries in the future rather than using them for the day to day shopping. Others keep forgetting to use the gift card when they go to the particular shop that they have the gift card for. These are the people who get caught out.

Which is one of the two big reasons businesses love gift cards, a good percentage of them are never used, add that to the fact people pay upfront for them and it's the same as a business (shop) getting an interest free loan. The fact some never get utilized means essentially the shops are "borrowing" money but paying back less than they borrow.

No love from EDR - I take a month off and they've forgotten about me, maybe I should have "activated" my offers when I was away even though I couldn't use them. Might send EDR a "I miss you" email.

Junior #1 got this one this morning... this card has not been used for over 1 month
