EDR Targeted Bonus Point Promotions

Did the MOET deal at Woolworths Liquor for 12 bottles @$42.18 picking up 476 QF points and 759 points on Kris Amex and 8 cents off a litres of fuel.
It isn't $29.99US like at my local Costco in California but with all the kickers being worth $50 it works out at $38AUS per bottle here so I am happy with that.
Just trying to keep the wolf away from France's door!

Like me cove, you possibly pissed there is no 2x QFF at Woolworths Liquor like there is at the supermarket currently...

Really it is the final cost that matters plus I was trying to keep the French economy going the only way I could think of!
Double points would have been nice from Woolies but I did get almost 2.5 points a dollar on an advertised special so that was ok.
For the NYE party I did Dan Murphy for Dom,Veuve and Moet as they were lowest and at that stage I wasn't even thinking of saving the French economy.

Where's my NYE invite lol

As I said, others will beat this with their normal buying. I didn't push the buying due to $, but at least the bar is set to be beaten.

Go shintaro10x and Princess Fiona

Shintaro clan of 5 shops tomorrow :D

At least I know the current target Lindsay...!

Shintaro10x I could not see from your profile which State you have as your home.
This year we will do NYE in Sydney and our kids can stay in Perth.
EDR promotions have pulled in quite a crowd but it really doesn't ring too many bells for us unless the price of something is almost too good to be true.
I am pleased it works for you and so many Woolworths fans.

Adelaide here cove...

Also its nice to get points for shopping at woolworths when we usually shop there anyway. When there is a 2x bonus, its a good time to stock up on non perishable items which will always be used at some time anyway eg toilet paper, personal hygiene products etc.

In our circumstances edr provides much better value than fly buys which we have not used for years now

# Double points means 2 points per dollar over $30 spent in one transaction. Double points offer applies to Woolworths and Safeway supermarkets and Liquor (excluding Tasmania) for Saturday 26th November 2011 and Sunday 27th November 2011 only. You must be an Everyday Rewards member and a Qantas Frequent Flyer member and have linked your memberships to earn points. Offer excludes selected purchases including smoking/tobacco products, gift cards and other specified services. To earn points you must present your Everyday Rewards card at the time of purchase.
Would you not get double points for "Woolworths Liquor"?

Good point serfty...

Looks like another confusing EDR offer since the email I received on Friday for this clearly states the following: -

bullet.gif

Offer only available at Woolworths and Safeway supermarkets

Edit: I would tend to agree with Serfty here, My local shopping mall has both a Woolworths Supermarket + Woolworths Liquor. Looking back at points being awarded on my EDR account there in the past would show that the "points earnt" location clearly states ******* Supermarket for both stores...

Perhaps Liquor is treated the same as the supermarkets in regard to points earning...?

Edit: Edit: http://www.woolworths.com.au/wps/wc...ths/prices/promotions/doublepointsthisweekend clearly also shows Liquor included as well

That would mean I can wave to shintaro10x more often as I fly over Adelaide coutesy of Woolworths EDR on just another JASA.

I got an email for the double points offer on 21/11/11. I had to activate the offer, which I did promptly.
It did not say anyhting about only being on the 26th & 27th. I did a big shop on Friday 25th, so I am hoping that I will get the bonus points.
I will be unhappy if I don't!

I just reread the email and it definitely doesn't mention only 26/27.

With 20%+ off any 6 or more bottles of wine, plus the "chance" of some 2x QFF points from Woolworths Liquor, what the heck I may as well take full advantage, and its pretty easy to drink some nice wine this time of year...

Sadly there was no 389 or 707 left by the time I got there, so had to settle for this booty: -

3 x Henschke Keyneton Euphonium
3 x Penfolds Bin 407
1 x Peter Rumball Sparkling Shiraz

And now to crack one open and wait for the points :D  :D

Mrs Shintaro got the same offer as above from oneworld...

I got the BWS
Spend $20 to $29 for 200 QFF
Spend $30 or more for 300 QFF

Been a long time since we got an offer NOT relating to booze.... I wonder if this means something :?:

We spent only $300 ish at the supermarket, so I guess you are the winner Lindsay.... However if my purchase at Woolworths Liquor counts then all up the grand total was closer to twice that...!

Total earn of points including 2x & CC = 1641 points

How strange that I get this weeks' offer as:
250 bonus points
When you place an order at
Woolworths online this week

Geesh, didn't they see my shop at the local Woolies on Saturday :o

Still, I'm sure I missed something  that my wife really wants/needs :D:
