EDR Targeted Bonus Point Promotions

Did someone on here mention that double points for the weekend were for everyone and not necessarily targeted?

I believe I did not activate my double points offer, parents went shopping yesterday and I activated the offer last night.

Signs in our local stores indicated it was for all EDR card holders...

In both Woolworths Supermarkets & Liquor stores.

So even though you did not activate your offer, you should still be awarded 2x for any purchases over $30 on Sat 26th & Sun 27th

Sounds great.

Now if it was just as easy to convince Everyday Rewards that I set up my mothers everyday account, her Qantas account, her secret answer questions, her password etc. I have somehow locked out the account and now they will not unlock it unless they speak to her. Her level of English is not enough to liaise with call centres. Which is the reason I setup all these things for her.

Keep harping on about the privacy act. They are so God awful stupid they keep falling overselves not to provide any support.

Do you or your mother have a female friend who can "pretend" to be her with you telling / prompting her what to say in the background...?

Seriously, yes there is a problem these days with regard to the privacy act in SOME circumstances such as looking after a senior persons "business", in these situations I find it much easier to lie or "pretend" it is your account / membership etc...

I know its not right but sometimes the system forces you to be creative or "lie" sometimes

JohnK you could get the folks at EDR to speak her language and she will then pass the test and all you need to do is be on the line to record the info.

If I want something done properly without the stupid questions then I lie and it sits perfectly fine with my conscience. Just wish it was possible in this situation but I would need to get a stranger or someone that is not that close to the family and would have to provide them with too much information in order to complete the phone call.

I have escalated the issue and I have been given an email to contact and hopefully they will help me out.

Would you not get double points for "Woolworths Liquor"?

Can confirm that 2x bonus points were indeed awarded for Woolworths Liquor during the "bonus weekend" offer. Normal points & Bonus points posted this morning.

...Looks out of office window waiting for a JASA wave from Cove :p

Ditto here, and the sweet thing was the fact I bought a heap of clearance spirits which were very cheap!

Mrscove on Wednesday and my wave on Thursday so don't miss us!
That news on the booze makes the MOET cheaper by $20 seeing I use QF points with a 4 cent retail value.
Actually shintaro10x you drink reds that I like a lot. Penfolds is cheaper in California if you needed to know.

Got an email for BigW - buy 3 stationery items and get 200 FFP.
Problem is, what constitutes a stationery item?
I bought a USB drive, blank CD case and file which I need anyway. All were in the aisle under the big words 'Stationery' although they might be classified as 'Home Office'?

As far as I am concerned I would be buying 3 x pens!

Cheap as possible!

True, but just trying to work out the cheapest items!
Like you said though "Stationary" is a little vague

I received a targetted promo today for Vitamins.

Spend $15-24 bonus 150 points, $25-34 bonus 200 points, $35+ bonus 300 points. Sweet... that's just a couple of bottles of my regular Iron supplement and the 300 bonus points are mine :D

I had to activate the promotion, which I can assure you I did not hesitate to do.

ckck

Cove, I look forward to enjoying a bottle of 707 with you one day ;)

I love Australian red wine, but I do try to keep within the $60 / bottle limit, unless it is a special occasion...! The top shelf stuff is really nice, however volume consumed dictates that limits must be imposed sometimes...!

The 2008 Henschke Keyneton Euphonium I bought on Sunday is particularly awesome

Who thinks up this rubbish?

"John, upgrade and get there fast with the Woolworths Qantas Credit Card"

Apply before 31 December and get an extra 500 QFF points on top of the 5,000 QFF points on offer! Big deal!

Why are they wasting emails on useless offers?

Anyway my father got a real offer

I predict Mrs Shintaro will in around 5 hours will receive yet another BWS spend $30+ for 300 bonus QFF points...! Why...? because this has been the random case for nearly six weeks in a row now...!

I love all these bonus offers, but buying all this booze is killing me (all be it in a nice warm & fuzzy way...! :p)

I also predict a Woolworths Liquor offer for myself...as I usually get these generally on a weekly basis too...!

Lets see if I am correct...

Lucky it is the festive season so you can enlist helpers to get your stocks down to a level that stops making your holdings look like a Woolworths Liquor store!
