EDR Targeted Bonus Point Promotions

Finally, the EDR gods have smiled on me, 400 points for spending $30 at BWS or Woolies Liquor, and 300 points for spending $30 at Big W, and an offer to purchase at Woolies online with $10 off and free delivery!

Also thanks to 'whatmeworry' for introducing me to points per litre at Woolies petrol. Only problem is my little WRX shopping trolley only takes 60 litres max at a time.

That is why I have 3 jerry cans in the shed...

OK. I am really annoyed
I have had the card for almost 15 months. Zero offers!!!
I never use the card a WW because I have a DJ Amex at 2.25 per $.
Do I need to opt in to email from WW? What is wrong with me?

Are you confusing Everyday Rewards Card with credit card? I use my ANZ Amex (1.5 points), plus scan my EDR card. They are quite separate.

We flash our EDR card and then pay with DJ's Amex =1 point per $ after the first $30 for the EDR card and then 2.25 x total spend on Amex.

Duffa I bought $31 of Australian prawns and gave them to the olds.
Offers were triggered from this even though I gift carded the purchase with a couple of other modest items like water for work.
I did scan the EDR part of my credit card.

I have an EDR card which I scan after every purchase
I also have the ppd Woolies credit card which I don't use in store because I get 2.25 with the DJ Amex
So for a $100 spend, I get:
225 points on the DJ Amex
70 on the EDR card

I just never get any bonus offers!!!

I'm stunned, I thought I had been missing out. I had a boss who said to me "It's a good thing there's two kinds of luck, otherwise you wouldn't have any." :(

Sign up a few of your family members to EDR. Rotate cards and not use primary card for a while.

Delink the cards, change your children's ages to over 18 and contact EDR by phone to complain about the lack of offers on your primary account.

To be honest I have been disappointed with most of EDR's offerings as of late and have been shifting purchases to Flybuys.

What he says.....

+1

Best tip is to give your junior members / kids an age increase, this will help to get BWS / WOW Liquor offers...

Also very good advice to un-link cards IMO linking cards does more harm than good..!

Dear Woolworths/EDR

After using both offers for meat for a quick 250 QFF (just bought the meat, nothing else ;)) we now find ourselves requiring other items to enjoy said meat, such as bread, salad & sauce for example. We also need the usual grocery items however unfortunately we have depleted all WOW offers and being such a savvy shopper, I don't want to return to my local woolworths without a bonus kicker, hence please send me more offers to keep us both happy. You have 5 accounts to chose from, I'm not fussed which one you use

Or should I just go to my local coles with my "virgin" flybuys card (activated but never used )

Oh the choices we have to make these days...

I'm hoping my recent forays into Big W and WOW give the same outcome shintaro10x:

11 APR 13 EVERYDAY REWARDS WOOLWORTHS SUPERMARKETS 11APR13--- 610 -
11 APR 13 EVERYDAY REWARDS WOOLWORTHS PETROL 11APR13--- 192 -
04 APR 13 EVERYDAY REWARDS BIG W 04APR13--- 648 -
04 APR 13 EVERYDAY REWARDS WOOLWORTHS SUPERMARKETS 04APR13--- 22 -
04 APR 13 EVERYDAY REWARDS PROMOTION 04APR13--- 100 -

At least the double points one posted correctly :D

Beginners question Shintaro how do you keep track of which card is linked to which offer when you're at the checkout?

I used old fashioned methods. When I write my shopping list I make a note of which card to use on the shopping list and a brief summary of the offer.
