Fuel offers come in and the price of petrol in MEL goes up! Wonder if there is a link?

I saw Coles Express, Kingsgrove at 125.9 this morning which is the cheapest I have seen petrol in Sydney for a long time. And then we receive another fuel offer.

Woolworths are trying to vary the offers.

They are not giving away the opportunity 1,000,000 QFF points for ~$1,000 spend and the world is ending....

Filled the tank up yesterday using my 20c discount for the coca cola spend. Petrol was at a good price.
Now I need another offer for the next fill up, but they seem few and far between.

In Melbourne my last couple of offers have occurred when fuel went up. Curiously petrol in Melbourne have not seen a price rise for close to 3 weeks.

Is it sad that if I don't have a 30cpl voucher and my car is out if fuel I park it up and drive my fiancé's car until we get a decent fuel offer???

I took 70L at my local WOW fuel outlet with the hope of using a 25 CPL discount voucher converted to 12.5 per litre..... forgot the bloody EDR card didn't I...

I know it sounds crazy but I carry around two copies of most of our family cards with me in different sections of my handbag(combination of paper temp cards, key tags and my main card)

Sadly, sometimes I only have the wish cards on me, no EDR cards.... This will change though...!

$80 - $119 12c per litre
$120 or more 15c per litre

We don't need much this week so will probably take up the $50 target.
