EDR Targeted Bonus Point Promotions

Same here and the toy offer too. Can't understand how we fit the profile re buying toys?
Read the email. It is not just toys. ;)

I'm assuming the double points and toy offer (although the latter has varying spend amounts it seems) are pretty much general offers. Did anyone not get them?
1/4 accounts received the double points and 1/4 accounts, not the same, received the Big W toy offer.

One of our accounts got the above offer but we never spend that much on that card so we'll ignore it. I prefer the general coles offer of 10 cents per litre for $50 spend.

With regard to the Big W Toy Offer, the way I read it, is you get the 300 bonus points when you spend $75 at Big W as long as it's from any one of the following departments: toys, books, DVDs, blu-rays, video games, consoles, kidswear, nursery and bedding.

Not necessarily something that everyone can get benefit on, but not just toys either. :)

I guess big W and everyday rewards want to get people into the store for the other departments and hope they'll spend extra money on the toys as well.

Brother - BigW toy offer of 300 bonus points for $75 spend

Don't have a need for toys but not sure if we will be able to spend that much anyway.

I now have four offers for this weekend:
- 250 points for $30+ spend, Big W
- Double points, Woolworths and BWS
- 300 points for $75+ spend, Big W toys offer (+dvds, books etc)
- 16c/l for $80+ spend, 20c/l for $120, Woolworths.

All on one card. Drought has broken with a flood. Unlikely to achieve the toys offer or $120 spend, but others easily achievable.

I'd love to have the Big W 250 offer stacked with the toys etc offer. I'm waiting until almost the end of the promotion period for the toys etc offer(same as yours) so that I can stack two Big W offers. I used to be able to do this but I haven't been able to do it for at least a year. There was a time when most of my bonus points came from Big W.

It gets worse, I also got the double points offer from Thursday to Sunday and I see the $428 shop has been shown as 26 June (Wed), so all I get is a measly 398 points and 4c offer. I think online shops don't accrue the general offers - better have a look at the website.

I've also had the $75 Big W offer for 250 points but we have more than enough toys

Yes it must be frustrating, especially looking at the targeted offers you reported. You'll get the 15 cent voucher for the $428 puchase(provided the 15 cent general offer applies to online orders). If you'd split the $428 across two transactions and two cards you would have got 2 15 cent vouchers, the 30 cent voucher from your offer and a 20 cent voucher from the other offer. It would have been difficult fitting in a big shopping trip like that in between social occasions. I hope you had fun at the social events.

I had an $80, 16 cent per litre offer once which I could have spent easily one weekend. The problem was that there were so many things going on with family functions that I couldn't set the time aside for a long shopping trip. As it was, I was in the shops late on a Sunday night for a small deli transaction(targeted offer) and the petrol station soon after using up a high value voucher that was going to expire. If I'd done the large shopping trip it would have created problems with routines at home. Sometimes we have to put chasing the points on hold when it comes to family commitments.

Dad - 16c fuel voucher for $80 spend and 20c fuel voucher for $120 spend this weekend

Cannot keep up with these offers.

We are finally seeing some decent targeted offers come through. This week spend $10 on tinned tuna get bonus 150 points. I think I stopped buying tuna for a while, as I had a large amount in the pantry, so they must have been worried I'd gone off tuna.

Did anyone receive any offers Yesterday or today?
It all seems very quiet.

Brother - 100 bonus points for $5 spend on canned fish

Offer received at 4:44pm today. Dont you just love simple targets?

Got the 15c voucher and 25c voucher on one account plus the 2x points. Did another shop to get 300 points for a $50 spend. Did a small BWS shop on a card that hasn't got any offers for a while which also earned 2x points. Car was nearly empty but needed some fuel to tie me over till the 25c voucher comes in a week but took advantage of the 15c (7.5 points). MEL should get down to at least 140c before it goes up this weekend.

I expect a few offers to come in tonight/overnight.

The averages on that chart for ADL shows to me that someone must be paying way too much for fuel, Fuel was at its lowest here in ADL on Friday morning last week and got down to 1.369/L before any discount from vouchers (This was lower than I predicted)

Hopefully will get down there again this week so I can use another high value voucher converted into points, with a wish card of course ;)
