EDR Targeted Bonus Point Promotions

Both Coles and Woolies treat Thursday as a tempt day for sending offers valid for the weekend, making the weekend the best time to shop.

The weekend may be the best time to shop for offers but the worst time for crowds and time taken...what is that saying?:
" It was the best of times, it was the worst of times."
Thank you Charles Dickens.

General promos, but just as a heads up.

Woolies online with Amex edge is offering 5 bonus ppd. It already garners 3 ppd.
Add everyday rewards at 1 ppd over $30, and 15c/L over $100 and you are looking at about 16 points per $!

Pity they don't sell gift cards online...

How do you work out 16 points per dollar...?

Doesn't the 15c turn into a point per 2c discount if you opt for points rather than fuel? Or should I be checking my balances more carefully?!

8 points per $1 on the credit card (5 from your FIRST purchase online https://www.americanexpress.com/australia/bonus-partners/mobile/details.html#/woolworths-online and then 3 per normal spend on the CC)
1 point per $1 from EDR from $30+
7.5 points per $1 spent on petrol (15cent voucher/2)

16.5 points actually :P

No...

I think its actually

8 points per dollar up to $30
9 points per dollar $31 and above

7.5 points per litre (this comes at an additional expense from the initial purchase)

Hence a $100 spend at the supermarket will earn ((8 x 30)+(9 x 70))= 870 points (8.7 points per $)

Using the fuel voucher for say 65L would also result in the following (65 x 7.5)+((65 x $1.50/L) x CC Earn per, say 1:1) = 585 points (6 points per $1)

Add it all up and you get: -
((870 + 585 )
÷ ($100 + $97.5)) = 7.367 points per $

YMMV
;)

Mum - a shiraz mixed dozen for $89 from Dan Murphy's

Interesting offer on a card that has never been used to purchase alcohol.

I've never purchased alcohol with my card and have never received an alcohol offer.

You can set your EDR preferences to not receive alcohol offers
