EDR Targeted Bonus Point Promotions

I think Major was looking at the possibility of 2x 300 pts, bit similar to the current AA buy miles promo where spending half x2 sees you net more than spend the lot in one hit.

Exactly...

Although the T&Cs don't specify that I have to make the spend on toys only.
I am not buying any toys and hoping the promotion is for any spend. Are that people that spend that much on toys?

Still nothing for anybody in my family. Maybe I'll go and change email addresses
What are you doing wrong? Our 4 accounts received 5 offers. Unfortunately only 1 of them will be achieved but all offers have been activated.

$120/500 points
$150/700 points at BigW for their toy sale. Although the T&Cs don't specify that I have to make the spend on toys only.

That confused me a bit initially. Glad it's not just toys as I don't spoil my nephew THAT much!

Scott.

Three offers for the household.
Big W $50 for 250 points, $75 for 500 points
Big W $75 for 300 points, $150 for 500 points
WW $10 Deli for 50 points

No offers for my account which is being used for the Cash for Christmas promotion.

I might use the Deli offer depending on my other grocery needs at WW. If I need the Deli purchases to make my required gift card spend then I won't go for the exta 50 points.

I don't know about the Big W offers. I might be able to make a start on the Christmas shopping depending on what time I have during the week. I'm going to Target on Monday as I have a coupon for $10 off for getting the transaction to $50. The 5% discounted gift cards I use for Big W wouldn't give me as good a discount as the Target coupon. I don't like the Big W targets so I might ignore the offers in the hope the next targets are lower.

One Account $75 - 300 points and $150 - 500 points at Big W
Two Accounts $75 for 250 points, $75 for 500 points Big W
$15 for 150 points on canned fish @ WW

Brother - 200 bonus points for $25 spend on cleaning products

Activated but spend amount is way too high....

Me - $10 on canned fish for 150bp

SWMBO - $275 for 1000bp

Beat mine.

Still managed a qualifying spend this morning, though. (That's my sister's family's gifts sorted).

We wrapped $500 spend this morning. Covering the 3 week gift voucher spend for SWMBO and my $120. Stocked up on christmas drinks and dishwasher stuff for the in laws (present) and a heap of tonic water. Gain of 1186 points.

I have not had an offer for more than a month and I used to get at least one every week. I generally took at least 80% of them. Maybe there is a cap.

My theory is that they give out less targeted offers during the gift card promotions than they otherwise would. Our household has had a reduction in offers over the last week.

I can't remember whether I reported a Deli offer for one member of our family. It was for a $10 spend but the reward offered was only 50 points instead of the 100 or 150 that we usually get for Deli offers. We'll probably take it up as I can still get to the gift card total without having to include our Deli needs for the week(the deli offer is on a separate account to the one which we are using for the gift card).

My thoughts exactly. I always notice a reduction in offers. I would say that I'm almost certain I've never had an offer when this promotion has been on.

Yesterday I used the 1,000 bonus point offer by spending $200 at BigW. It took 10 minutes so that worked well.

MrsDeKa received some nice Coles-style paper vouchers in the mail today. Spend $50 get $10 discount (x3 weeks).

I think we'll spend $51 on each and the rest of the spend can go elsewhere ;)

They sound like great vouchers, Deka. I had some of those last year and spent the bare minimum at Coles and the rest at Woolworths and other places. I love points, but I would like Everyday Rewards to consider offering more dollar off targeted offers.
