I know why they do it (they expect some of the gift cards to be forgotten about and not get used) However why make the promotion so clumsy by mailing out bits of plastic...? Why not just load a discount on the EDR card itself once you have met the qualifying criteria. From memory I think Fly-buys do similar when converting points to discount...

Yawn, $20 gift card for 3 x $100 spend... 6.666% discount. I guess its slightly better than the 5% I can get from my local RAA on wish card purchase, however i can get a $250 discount every day there if I want to

Exactly. I remembered our Christmas card expired on 31 Dec, so poor Mr Natalie had to fight the NYE shoppers. We only needed a few things (shop was about $2 after using $15 card) but I wasn't letting it expire!

Cash for Easter is coming
same 3 week deals like the other times
mine was $15 gift card for $50 spend over 3 weeks
What did other members get?

$100 spend. Too high, and probably means no other offers for the next three weeks :-|

Or do what Coles did last week and make it a voucher on the docket - $20 for $80 spend.

I typed the original entry while I was still waking up. I guess it shoud read $50 spend each week for 3 weeks to earn the $15 gift card. The spending weeks start next Monday February 24. I like the fact that I can spend the $50 through several shopping trips. We should be able to manage the $50 spend each week without having to stock up on lots of things. I'll spend as little as possible this week and wait until next Monday to take up the catalogue specials that start on Wednesday 19 February. So far only one family account has received the offer. We won't be getting a lot of base points in the promotion but the gift card combined with the 5% off using RACV Wish cards makes it look like a good offer to me.

Same for my wife. Half a chance as it's a 10% discount if the spend is exactly $150 (not easy to achieve).

Mine is $30 for $150 x 3 (discount is 6.67%). Absolutely no chance my card will get a run and I'll tell them the spend is too high.

Now that was assuming I could actually register for the offer - clicking the link gives me:

Oops! Google Chrome could not find Everyday Rewards Promotions

:confused::evil::rolleyes:

This should be easily obtained as I do generally spend more than $50 a week, last weeks $18 shop being the odd one out in teh last 6 months or so.

I just tried to register. It took a long time for the page to load correctly but it worked eventually. I'm very good at spending the exact $50 across the week even when I do it on several shopping trips. If there are any extra shopping requirements I put them on the other cards. I like the fact that the lowest gift card is actually the highest percentage return.

Me - 100 bonus points for just being me for any spend at Woolworths, Big W and BWS

No. Mrs QF WP = [1K bonus points + (226-30)] = 1,199. My points earning on my CC is (226 x 1.5) = 349. Perhaps I should have put in the data about my CC in my previous post :o
Apologies QF WP.

1,196 QFF points was right to start with but 226 x 1.5 = 339 not 349....
