EDR Targeted Bonus Point Promotions

Let us know if you see anything about a Woolworths online sale.

One of our family members who doesn't have an online account just received an offer which doesn't take the cards spending pattern into consideration.

Spend $200 for a $20 discount online OR
Spend $300 for a $30 discount online

The offer can be used once only and the terms suggest you can only use one offer in the qualifying transaction. The offer is for orders placed today until Thursday May 8. I don't know what the delivery terms are.

This account has never spent more than $80 in one transaction and that has only been on rare occasions.

The online sale seems to involve Woolworths group products but I have no idea what these products have been discounted by. I'm sure I'll get an email soon from the one account we have which does have an online account.

There's no way we are taking this up as we wouldn't want to stockpile that much in Woolworths products and there aren't enough specials in either catalogue to make an online offer of this size worthwhile. If the WW group products are on a good enough special we might try another WW online order on the other account, get $50 worth of groceries and then get about $5 off using the discount online coupon.

Wondering why I haven't received these mailed out vouchers but then I realised I didn't have "Mail" ticked in Subscriptions... it's now ticked!

I haven't received the mailed out vouchers either, but all communication options are ticked. So, no vouchers, and no other offers so far.

Very annoyed I missed the 4 week mail out book :(

No offers here this week

Last week for 300 points for $50 spend, used that tonight for $55 of heavily discounted products :)

3 out of 4 accounts received the Woolworths online sale discount offer

Spend $200 receive $20 off
Spend $300 receive $30 off

Nice offer but we are not going to spend that much online shopping.

So filled up the car tonight and scanned my EDR card, as I was paying using multiple left over gift cards (there was no one waiting behind me) I didn't take too much notice of the exact amounts..

Anyways, I asked for a receipt as I ALWAYS keep Woolies receipts until the points post.

So even though my account is set up for Qantas FF points and not the fuel discount, I received the fuel discount :(

I noticed that on the receipt it said **EDR OFFLINE** so it must default to 4c/litre

My EDR card number was printed at the bottom of the receipt

Thoughts ?

Got this 'offer' too, but AFAIAC its off the planet. Maybe WW aren't purchasing any FF points from QF as part of their enhancement to the program.

Hopefully you win both ways. If you don't get the points ring EDR and complain.

I've called up in this instance (admittedly it was a 20cpl voucher or something) and said "I wouldn't have filled up with 50L in a 50L tank if I'd known I'd only get 4cpl rather than 500 Qantas points".
They gave me the 500 points (and I got to keep the 4cpl).

I have come up against this a few times. I have had to claim the points manually.

Why is it so difficult for Everyday Rewards? EDR should never be OFFLINE.

On second thoughts I had this at the cash register at Woolworths a few weeks back when I asked her to scan the card. She said Everyday Rewards is offline when the card was scanned. I asked her to rescan the card and she looks at me funny. Seriously? I am not spending $200 shopping to miss out on the QFF points and the bonuses that go with it and I should not have to chase it up.

Go JohnK - so how did the rescan go? Did U have to call EDR?

Took my vouchers tonight and "saved" $55 so not too shabby. I've worked out that with the new Fairer and Simpler changes my EDR/AMEX combo will be netting me the equivalent QFF points of doing a SYD-MEL rtn every fortnight :D

*edit: in reply to fuel machines offline at servo*

Agree, you will not get the points for petrol unless you complain.

Happened to me once, I was direct and not happy jan (I did say I was cranky, don't take it personally! )...

Not my problem I was given a 4c (or higher!) Discount; nor that the machine was offline!

I chose the option of points, not discount..... If it's not fixed soon a complaint will be made higher (ie: ombudsman/government style).

Rescan worked.

It was weird. From memory the shop was for ~$171. She scanned the Everyday Rewards card and it accepted the card but the Qantas points were zero. Luckily I checked. I asked her what was wrong and she said "EDR OFFLINE". She had no other solution. That was it. I asked her to rescan card. Didn't work. She had to remove the original scan and then when she rescanned card ~141 QFF points appeared.

I dont believe I should have to go through this everytime I go shopping. Whether the card scans or not should not be my responsibility. There is a system in place and it works intermittently which is not good enough.

The WW online sale seems to be a general promotion not a targeted one. I found a good special on nappy pants in their 72 hours of specials products and ended up placing an order which included my normal Wednesday top up shopping. I used the code from the coupon book for the 10% discount.

It appears that the $20 and $30 codes are generic and are on display on the Woolworths online page. If you order over $200 from WW online at a time the codes might be very useful.

Mrs QF WP got an email: at 4am this morning

earn 250 bonus points when you buy wine at BWS.

Thankfully I need to buy some Moscato for her.

Seems not taking up the last BWS offer has meant they sent her another

As always.going away today so 1000 bonus points for spending $100 online.
Free delivery so will they deliver to NYC?
