EDR Targeted Bonus Point Promotions

so you think they monitor this site Lindsay??

I am not sure how many EDR Members have now linked their membership to QFF....but it would be massive.

AFF members would be but a drop in that ocean, and so I doubt we would be on their radar.

Personally I prefer it that way as maximising points comes from opportunities to be different from the heard. While some welcome "company" members on the site, my view is that they and the "company" lurkers can reduce such opportunities. They can contribute useful info on various topics ( ie the airline guys on aspects of their airlines, but that also comes at the price of closing loopholes.

While I am reasonably free and sharing with my knowledge, I certainly don't post all that I know for that reason. Unfortunate, but that is the way it is.

Another two offers last night. First was spend over $180 and choose between points or fuel savings, increasing to over $230. Second was 300 bonus points for 2 cases of beer. I already have 3 sitting in my cellar so that's out!

I got an offer this week too, but the spend is higher than we ever get with our weekly shop so not much good there.

And, not good news on my "vanishing" points either. I've rung EDR but they cant see them on their end either, and without a receipt they wont do anything, even though the targetted bonus is there. Points came through originally on the Monday and receipt probably went out with the rubbish on the Tuesday, and the points vanished on the Wednesday. So, Ive been screwed out of over 100 QFF points :(

No points offers this week for me

It's okay I still have lots of food left-over from the last 2 weeks big shops!!!!

I received two offers this week, one for double points at Big W and the other for Multi-pack ice creams at Woolworths - 50 points for 1 multi-pack and 150 points for 2 or more multi-packs ( that one should be an easy bonus to achieve  ).

$100 worth of fresh food for 250 points this week.

The bonuses seem to be staying the same, the required spend seems to be increasing:evil:

Me: Purchase 1 bottle Spirits for 200 Bonus QFF / Purchase 2 bottles Spirits for 300 Bonus QFF (Getting tired of this one, must have had it nearly 50 times already over the past two years)

Mrs Shintaro: Double QFF points at Big W for every spend over $30

Junior Member #1: "We Miss You" Double QFF points at Woolworths Supermarkets for every spend over $30

Junior Member #2: "We Miss You" Double QFF points at Woolworths Supermarkets for every spend over $30

No offer for Junior clan member #3 this week

Any week with bonused is a good week I guess, but this weeks offers are pretty lame :-|

I'm noticing that too. Two weeks ago it was spend $50 for the lowest amount of points, or $80+ for 250 points. This week its $100 for the lowest point bonus and $150 for the 300 points (and I only just made it past $80 for that last bonus).

Update RE the vanishing points; have located the receipt and EDR have said they will credit the points. Hopefully I get the product bonuses I earnt and not just the basket value points....

Finally got some loving:

Of course Woolies spies on us,well me at least.I got a Miss You offer in September-the first week I was working in Tasmania for the second half of the year.I got another today-naturally my first day back in Tassie for this trip.:(
But I think I know who it is:idea:.Our cleaner's partner is a Woolies manager.I might just mention my suspicions!

I seem to be having trouble activating my promos between 5-5:30am. Does anyone else have this issue?

Got the usual offer today (again...)...

Got a Big W bonus points offer and a Your Reward, Your Choice. I might be able to make good use of the Big W offer, but doubt I will get over the $100 for 150 bonus points on the other offer.

Mine is 300 bonus points when you buy any case of beer this week at BWS

For my thinking, they are testing the strength of EDR member' desire for FF points versus spend (also encapsulating brand strength). I remember a survey about this - was it discussed here or through eRewards?

I doubt they understand how we, as a sub-group of EDR, value our points . I'll bet we are quite a few standard deviations from the mean on both take up of offers and average bonus points per account per week But in doing that, I woould live to understand their algorithm - some are getting the same offers week after week (shintaro10x :D) and others are getting none regularly (drron and others).

There was a very interesting article on this LW recently. All the data that WOW/WES receives on how/what we spend. They are combing through it trying to see patterns etc etc.

I would love to understand their algorithm - some are getting the same offers week after week (shintaro10x :D) and others are getting none regularly (drron and others).

My theory is that you train them to give the offers you want by ignoring the poorer value offers...whether they come by email or are in the catalogue.

If you take up poor value offers...you get more of them.

If you play hard to get....you get the better values more often.

After all we all know what we are, so we are just arguing about the price!!!! ;)
